I skated juniors as a kid in Estonia , after moving to the U.S. I tried skating 10 years later but having grown up my body changed and everything felt so different and I was so scared to try anything it was so disappointing , I miss how invincible you feel as a child ..you did phenomenal Mia...bravo!

I skated since I could walk, and when I was 15 I broke my leg and stopped. Every time I’d get back on the ice years later after about 30 minutes it’s like my instincts take back over. It’ll always be apart of you❤️

its super sweet to me that a youtube I watch regularly for makeup, hauls, renovation used to be competitive in figure skating as well. I quit 4 years ago and now going back into it. Never plan to compete again because of how toxic the environment was for me but I love and miss it so much regularly. This video fills my skating heart!

i‘ve been an adult skater for 2 years now (just turned 23) and I’ve just started landing my first jumps + got my scratch spin this season! seeing you get back to it was so fun to watch, though i definitely understand why people quit. i do it as a hobby, going to the rink weekly and doing off-ice during summers, but being on the ice 6 days a week is a whole different thing.
