The band sounds great Dave! CX has been an absolute joke this week. Seen a job from Central Scotland going over 400 miles south with asap delivery sell for 47p per mile! I'm strongly considering just going back into construction where I'll have a guaranteed wages every week and I won't have to fight for jobs all week.
Good evening Dave. I’m a little later catching up this week 😊 Sat at Heysham port waiting for my ferry to Belfast so watching this is perfect 👌🏼 On the bright side after City’s loss in the champions league made up with win against Chelsea in the FA cup final. Man U struggling against Coventry city 🤣
Hi Dave just a little advice on your van I'm a qualified mechanic I would do an engine oil and filter change every 6 to 7 thousand miles clean oil is the best way to keep the mechanic away these modern engines with DPF ,add blue and fuel secondary burn systems are a nightmare for the longevity of your engine all the best
When you were talking about how many weeks a year you worked, I thought you said "you may be dead"and yes you probably would struggle then!!! Listening back you may have said "it may be dead". 😅
I tramp all week (funds depending) and I turn a tank of fuel (£110 ish) into 300/350 ish. I don’t do ADR or any other specialist loads, so it is possible to make a living. It’s not easy tho
I’m 99% CX. Because of where I stay it’s virtually impossible to be home every night. I don’t mind the back of the van. It’s dark and I can sleep whenever I need too 🤷♂️ I enjoy it, never knowing where I’ll end up
@@anvillogistics477 So Anvil Logistics has bought the van but you are the named driver on the insurance ? So Anvil Logistics can claim capital allowance ? and does the company pay for all the running costs insurance/maintenance/fuel/tax etc etc or do you have to pay that personally ? reason I'm asking is I want to use my own van to work solely for business use for my new ltd company( no personal usage ) but was wondering if the company has to buy the van from me for that to happen or can I still own the van but all the costs of running it will be down to the company if they are just the registered keeper ( not owner ) ? I would appreciate any feedback on this query
@@vaughanmorris9016 Anvil Logistics are registered keeper of the van but I personally had to guarantee the vehicle finance as the company has not been trading for 3 years yet. So you can say until it’s paid off the finance company own it. All payments for it go through the company accounts.
@@anvillogistics477 I have a van I bought outright that I was using as a sole trader I now want to use the van for my new LTD company. would I have to sell the van to my company for me to be able to claim all the running costs through the company ( insurance/maintenance/fuel/tax etc ) I believe thats how it works ?
I have quit this week vans up for sale not enough money in this game for me but good luck to everyone. Abdul with his 10 vans and no insurance on the other 9 has ruined the CX they work for 50p a mile in a long wheelbase and love life, good luck to them the CX is dead unless your Abdul 😁
