Interesting how big of a difference there is in the comments. Some people apppreciate the excellence of this film while others found in boring and a waste of time. Persoanlly, I throughly enjoyed all aspects of this masterpiece. Many thanks for posting this gem.

@@flashgordon6670: Because both the wise guys decided to run a cross country marathon with their hands tied firmly behind their backs.😅 They could easily have untied each other ,either with their teeth or a sharp piece of stone or by some other means. Of course, had they done that the story would have ended then and there and we would have been denied a great *Masterpiece* ! 😅

A great old adventure escape chase film. Some unrealistic scenes, but exemplifies the spirit of comradery, hope, wanting and the emotional highs and lows of being outcasts. Some stunning scenery and wild rural landscapes, with plenty of suspense and guts n glory. 8.2/10

Its one of those movies that you have to guess everything.Dont know the country,why they running,what they did if they were in prison and why it takes an entire army to capture them.There was a little intrigue when it started with the chopper chasing them across that rough terrain.Both men could have told their story while they were on the run,but it was ok as entertainment.😂

Harold and the best stunt ever !!!. He must have been covered in bruises after piroueting around those steel beams. I for one changed my pants twice. Fat boy too !. Just incredible. Thanks all. Dave

Well photographed, with a good cast of two, but somewhat tedious. The two verbally spar, then the helicopter comes - again and again. No frame of reference; are the escaped prisoners deserving of captivity or not? Where are they? Do those they kill deserve killing? Could never warm up to the two stars. Couldn't figure it out.

It doesn't look like handcuffs, looks like rope. They could try to get their hips and then their legs through their arms. Don't understand why they didn't try to undo their restraints.

And cut the ropes on sharp pieces of stones. Even biting each other’s binds. Untying may not have been possible, with each of their hands already tied and not being able to see behind their backs. However it is possible to pull your hands down when they’re tied behind you and put each leg through your arms, so that your hands becomes in front of you. It would still be near impossible to undo a well tied knot though. But sharp rocks, metal on fencing, a tin can, or even an edge on some wood or thorns would be possible.

A pretty silly plot. Running for hours and hours with hands tied. Alone , you could wear thro the bonds with against a sharp rock , but with two, one of them could have freed the other using their teeth.

Yes it would be the first thing to deal with. Also what to think, are these 2 persecuted victims, or when the Robert Shaw character murders an innocent goat herder, villains? Only 20 minutes in so far and I watched because of Shaw but his character seems pretty dopey. It's only drama so yes, can be anything.
