Great refresher here. I discovered the half-cut and snap-the-foam method by accident, haha. It really does break cleanly though, much easier than trying to cut through the entire board. The first-ever foam board I bought was at Lowe's, and it was 1" thick. I don't know if the density was different or what, because that didn't warp at all. Sadly I've only seen that board that one time, and since then I've noticed the pink board that's available now is warped, like you said. I'm hoping it comes back around, but for now those 2x2 foot boards are great for single dios. Awesome vid, looking forward to more tutorials!

LOL s.o.b, wish I had seen this video at 4am while I decided to cut my board and cut on both sides of it, uneven might I add. That's a great trick for the near future to keep in mind, thanks, your videos are amazing bro.

There is a closed foam board sided with foil that is really rigid. It might work well for you if you are carving a landscape and do not mind the foil. It is a lot more sturdy than the insulation boards you are using in the video. I have yet to try it myself.

Sup al! I've got a question...i kno you make lots of dio's and most are city or street dio's or houses and i wonder if you also do landscapes like mountains or sum like that? I bought that foam too and is it possible to make landscapes with that or do you need another type of foam for like making mountains and rocks?

Really nice It pisses me off that where i live it s impossible o find foamboards that thin. all that i can find are like three times as thick as that...

Aight haha guess using nature is way better and more realisticly so i have to give you that man.the reason why i'd asked you that is cuz i'm making custom figures. Most of all are historical and mythical characters so landscapes or ruins are always in the picture.you'll get the point right.but it's cool man i did sum research and know now how to make landscapes or ruins. I'm planning to make short videos of my customs and maybe puttin them online.maybe...till then i'm focusing on dio's first. But thanks anyways fo reply man. 👊😎👍

Dude, get a metal Framing Square or T Square. to measure and cut, will make your life easier.

Should start making these dios with stuff that would be recycling goods. Bottles, boxes etc. like that it wont go to a land fill.

That's good stuff but remember not to set anything on fire with that kind of material it has chemicals and it could catch on fire quickly especially if your paint is flammable. You wouldn't want your hard to get action figures to turn into melted art sculpture other then that your work is priceless.
