I love embracing my dark side!
I've always found more creativity exploding out of me during my journeys to deep dark isles lol. Strange but what can I say, it brings the wild and crazy out of me. At first I was thinking of red blood dripping on white roses but that would've made the model too gruesome so I decided to go with red roses instead. I think the substitution turned out great! This particular model took a while but I had so much fun doing it. I also do pastry designing on the side so the roses were very easy to make as it uses the same steps as molding fondant. lol. So Belladonna Kiss of Death is a demon that goes around poisoning others with her lovely kisses. While stealing souls to feed the Queen of the Underworld she is however, captured and chained up with the Golden Chains of Elysium. Use your imagination to continue this story....

Ok I I have kinda made a story for this doll: It was the time when the Black Death was here in Europe, the Grim Reaper himself had asked Belladonna (a heartbroken woman who had committed suicide because of her love cheating in front of her) to spread the plague with a simple kiss and someone might just fall in love with her. So she believed him and set out through Europe kissing everyone she could see and soon killing them. She grew more and more addicted to doing this and adored everyone she kissed. At one point she was doing work as usual when she met a man, a handsome man who she loved at first sight! She ran up to him and kissed him passionately not knowing she was going to kill him, she followed him but then saw him die...because of her. Belladonna fell into a life of sadness and chained herself up high up in a cave in Europe. She silently cried there and soon disappeared...but she would soon meet her love again....

Man oh man oh man! I completely by chance stumbled across this and I have to say that is some stunning work! To take an average (vinyl?) doll and turn it into a work of art with a result like that just wow! can really see the time and detail put in. Love the little added touch of adding gold to the tips of the roses to tie it all in. Definitely got a sub outta me! :)

I admit, I was skeptical when the video started, but by the end I was utterly entranced. The level of detail in this figure is nothing short of amazing. I especially love her feet design and the way her tail is holding her up. She truly looks like a piece of art, which I totally love. I think that in this world, demons are made of magic - it is the fabric of their being. So Belladonna's essence and magic is black, and that's how she steals through the underworld. When she was caught by one of the demons she was trying to poison, she was imprisoned in the Golden Chains of Elysium. The magic of the Chains is inimical to Belladonna's, and is slowly poisoning her. The gold on her hands, feet, body, and tail show the progression of the contamination. And the more she tries to use her power, the faster the contamination spreads. She cries in pain, and reaches out for someone to save her. But she doesn't repent of her nature, and her would-be victims remain unmoved.

This is AMAZING. For every person seeing this they'll have a different meaning of what it represents. Yes, it's Death, but what is death? To me I see something beautiful, somewhat inviting. Something mysterious and secretive. I like the arrogance in her eyes, but yet again the tears, like she's inviting you in but is forced to do so. She's forced to be in her own body and forced to take souls. She's caught in her psychical body and can't escape. I see the beauty and the ugliness of the Death. The white face as a mask on a black body. The gold swirling around her holding her capture. This may "only" be a doll, but it's so much more too. This is art. You are so talented!

Oh my god, this figurine is so beautiful! Its, oh my gosh, its utterly breath taking! This would he a type of doll i would see in a store, gasp dramatically, then do EVERYTHING i could to buy it, because this is just so gorgeous! I love how dark she is, and i LOVE the gold highlights you put on her and the roses, and LOVE THE HORNS, AND CHAINS, AAAAHHH! The only thing i would've done differently, is try to put a single, tiny rose into the palm of her hands, and maybe make them the opposite color of the original roses, like be black, with red shading, then have the gold outlining and 'staining' them. I think that would've been really dramatic and stunning if you had managed to pull that off. I also would've try to put some roses (normal colored) on the outward curve of the tail. Not many, just three, because it looks just a tiny bit empty on that pure black spot. But it doesn't take away from the look! Just something i would've done if i could pull something like this off. ^~^

What I think makes your creations so unique compared to other channels that do similar things by revamping dolls is your end product is a complete concept. The stands and extra touches you add tell a story for the character without having to say a word. I watch several different channels like this without the sound. I often wonder, “Ok, now what are they going to do with the doll?” With your work I don’t think that. I know that it’s a piece of art to be displayed. Literally something that I feel could be collected or used to decorate. Just fanatic work!

Creating the face after making all the other details seems way too difficult to work with. She's stunning, and it didn't ruin anything. But I was curious as to why you wait until after? To me it seems like it would be easier to do it first. But that's just my own opinion, I still enjoy her very much and I have NO PROBLEM with you working that way. Artists have their own styles and steps on doing things.

That's gorgeous and really theatrical! I really love how the color combinaison make her pop out all the tiny details you painted on her! She really could be something like a statue to make offering with all the runes and the black magic tools aroud! There's a chain demon you could like, it's Baphomet. She have goat horns and is chained, usually use to reprent sins and fault against God, I'm so sure you could do such an amazing work with her! ^^

WOW. I didn't even realize 16 minutes had passed watching this because I was just so entranced by your work and how beautifully crafted everything was. This was amazing, and the accents of gold and her tears and almost alien like characteristics really add so much to the character. You've really outdone yourself. This is absolutely gorgeous.

Woww, this is absolutely amazing!! She really came together when the tears and chains went on, suddenly i knew what kind of emotion she was meant to depict. This is stunning, and really makes you feel something when you look at her. And i liked your music choice as well.
