Interestingly enough, it is said on The isle wiki that the Baryonyx would come sometime after Update #6 and we are currently on 6.5. Which boths means Baryonyx is nearly released in theory ? But it also means that Baryonyx isn't the secret Dino after all since its release was already planned. EDIT: Megalania is in my opinion more likely the secret Dino because it's a secret. This is why we don't have any information on it over the Wiki. Megalania would also 'happen' to be in synch with the recent work FTessaro mentioned with Venom, considering Megalania was a venomous specie I think this potentially correlate with Venom finalization. Dondi said there was some elements of Troodon's venom he didn't like and FTessaro mentioned in Blog 42 and I quote: " Also finished up working on dilophosaurus venom. It has a few other things necessary for release, we are ready to begin testing on it. I think mega would be an amazing idea to introduce since it uses one of every mechanic freshly made for Gateway, but because we haven’t even seen the model for it yet, and just have the concept art, it makes me think Bary is much more likely.
Yeah it’s hard figuring out dinos cause while mega sounds like an amazing addition considering the circumstances, it doesn’t have a model as far as we know
You had burrow correct the first time. Borrow means to temporarily use someone else's thing(s) eg: "I borrowed my friend's cell phone yesterday." Or "I will borrow my friend's cell phone Today." Or "I am borrowing my friend's cell phone right now."
i think it's allo, if they add maia without allo or bary then maia is gonna trash cerato and others, maia will be too fast for bigger things like rex to catch, too powerful for things like carno to fight, but the maia allo matchup is perfect
I am thinking on bary as it is in the size range and can counter the current roster effeciently and isn't farfetched, allo is probably not because the sheer trouble it would bring carnos would basically make carnos useless, a plus is that it could be something to counter stego the is not always situated near water, ima have to cross out megalania since it doesnt have a model yet, which the others have, and allo will cause problems so I am sure baryonyx will be the next playable.
Ofc next Update will be Diablo ONLY. As i haven't seen any real facts and footage of any other dinos being on this level of being complete. Update (dino addition) after that id say Maia and/or Ovi (maybe update after Maia, if not together). Rex and Trike will imo come after Maia, as again it's too big, but it might also come before as it'll still only be on unofficials and are sorta completed, still some more stuff to add. Kentro will prob come after all these, as i haven't seen a single footage and rly haven't heard that much talk about it too, so it'll prob be the last of the confirmed dinos to come to the game. Then the secret dino. Yeah Meg and bary adds more adversity to the game, something new/something already in the game but with it own style. Tbh for me then i'm thinking Bary is the most likely to come. It's not small and big enough, fits the roaster, adds something to Evrima, will be another rivaliry of Deino which is HIGHLY needed, to actually prevent them to just back out into water and be safe... and overall just makes more sense than the Meg imo. BUT they might do us good and do both at the same time. Allo could also be the secret dino, but it rly dont add that much new to the game, it's pretty much a mix of carno and cera, got the power, the size, the speed/stam, will be a good ambusher, etc. But it will rule over Cera and by default also Carno so no not right now. About Ava and Minmi, plus maybe Proto will come together in an update, they are all small and all three of em fits together to be in 1 update, maybe split into 2?. Overall i think BARYONYX will be the secret dino, but could also be Meg.

Honestly I love love love long and analytical videos like this, definetly subbing! Thank you so much for your time. I think the dino thats most likely to come might be mono, we havent had anything like a utah in the game, it has a model and some animations and I just love the look of mono so its just personal preference. Out of these 3 personally I' say bary, since mega doesnt have a model, skin, sounds or animation and requires burrows and climbable trees that would need testing and theyre not really a feature ingame yet, the concept art also shows that as megalania gets bigger it cant climb trees anymore, they'd have to fix any bugs related to that aswell. Bary and allo have sounds and animations they could just refine, so I think theyre more likely to come that mega. Allo aswell is just too big imo, so bary out of these 3.
I believe that dondi saying on stream "allo will come after something that I wont say otherwise people would lose their minds" (not exact quotes but you reference this near the end of the video) makes me think the dinosaur is magy. People losing their shit but not due to hype- due to worry, confusion or anger. Magy and Allo have also been used in the communitys grivenences around magy as an addition- with kissen quotes from the past saying "magy will likely be faster than the allo" so having allo IMMEDIETLY after magys additions would also make people "lose their minds" - again but not necessarily from hype. Magy has gotten a negative stigma which I don't think it deserves by itself- but the devs comments surrounding the animal have done major damage to peoples opinions around the playable. I think magy will hold this stigma until its added- maybe forever more if they fumble its addition
Bary and mega would be cool to get rn and allo should come with maia because in the consept art maia was show to block carno's ram so no carnivore would be able to hunt it..

Maybe Megalania would have some mechanic that would be poisonous to eat to certain dinos, and maybe it would also have an amazing strong venom. So attacking a megalania would definitely make a Rex question if it should really fight it even if it could.
@@mrbeardmTV It might be megalania because Dondi in the same stream said that Troodon was going to get a venom rework when Dilo comes out - they might be trying to get the venomous ones out of the way. Genuinely, I think it might be something big like Spino though
Yeah I also saw that video. Effectively dondi did say there would be another Dino that could tussle with the T-rex and I were assuming another land Apex but which one ? Hard to tell and it's kind of a confusing statement since I thought Trike was supposed to be the T-rex challenger but Trike is no secret at all. @@Tastybuilder
if megalania is added the isle would be my most played game, I mean climbing is coming, Burrowing is being talked about alot. and venom mechanic is coming with dilo so the path is all set
Honestly I kinda dont want megalania (right now) for 2 reasons: its a carnivore (I know this video was made before dilo and herrera came out, but now we have way to many carnis compared to herbis) and its venomous (just got dilo)
Ye deinocheirus is my favourite dinosaur but the reason I mostly think it's spinosaurus as the secret dino is because I have a friend secretly working on spino he's dondi's secret developer
Hoping for Bary or Meg but expecting Minmi. I dont think it will be Meg yet, because they probably want to see how the climbing system will perform with herrerra. And they said in the devblog burrowing will be tested, so I doubt its ready before summer. I expect the other dinos, Dilo, herrera, diablo, they want to release before Christmas. So I guess Bary would be most likely, since it has no special mechanics we know about besides the anti-lunge thing in the concept art.
I think Bary is weird, plus he was useless on Legacy, so . . . i really want REX > Dilo > Allo, and lucky me, at least Dilo and rex seems really close and allo not that much, but also close.@@mrbeardmTV

@@Am-i-really-me I think I got the weights of dinos from a chart with all the dinosaurs that are going to be in the isle. Also Alberto in legacy was 3000kg while irl it’s 1300-2500 kg. Also the chart also said one between those so it’s kinda hard to pinpoint what the devs will decide what weight each will have lol
Honestley, If there is a hidden dino it would probably be something that adds a new mechanic that can be developed into a future dino. We know rex is coming and albertosaurus is a mid tier relative to rex. It would be a good stego hunter and would be a good rex mechanic builder.
@@mrbeardmTV theri would rule the land though so it would need a predator first. Giga would be great to see come out with cama because thats what they hunted. Acro might be a bit too big and too fast to add into the game before larger competition and prey. Alberto would be a great fit to hunt maia, kentro, and diablo. It would finally add a fight for stegos in a pack. Anky would be immortal. Styraka would be too strong for any current predators and too weak for rex even in a herd.

I think I read something about a secret dino and also a secret apex. What I think it is is that the secret dinosaur is the one coming after oviraptor, which I talked about in the video, and the secret apex is one that's going to be on the next list of dinosaurs on the roadmap that will be able to pin down a rex.

I don’t really know if it’s coming with Herrera, Diablo and Dilo, but who knows? Maybe with these, maybe with the Rex,trike. Maybe even with maia and oviraptor. I don’t know a lot about that, but maybe they’ll surprise us with it on Christmas 🎄
Titanoboa was cancelled and when it comes to raui I think Filipe said long time ago that he doesn’t see it on his list of dinos coming into the game. Probably coming, probably not :)

Right :))) I mean a creature of that size to be able to fly does indeed make it very lightweight. The real Quetz is estimated at 200-250 kg. While the real austro at 300 kg. Obviously Quetz like modern birds probably had empty bones inside and such
The secret dino is the triceratops. I saw on a live stream the dino-menu the triceratops when he opened to show us rex and stuff. So im almost 100% certain it is the triceratops. And with the recent dev-blog one of the animators said that if they finish diablo it is gonna help allot for the animations of the triceratops. So ig we shall see
The trike is one on the list of dinos that are coming. We know it’s coming. I also showed it in the video as well :) There’s rumours there’s one that wasn’t talked about. Also when someone asked Punch about a secret dinosaur he said “I can’t share anything on that yet 🙂” and didn’t deny it.

From what I know there's going to be a secret dino and a secret apex that we'll get after the current roadmap dinosaurs. But if the secret apex is the same as the secret dinosaur, then there's nothing much I can come up with lmao. Like the secret apex could be Spino, Giga, Acro, Deinocheirus, or Suchomimus.

Megalania is going to use the burrowing mechanic dryo will have. If dryo AI will ever come they will use it as well. I also played dryo in the past and I found it very fun and relaxing

They’re trying to take it slowly. They added deino and Stego cause they didn’t want to let evrima with only small dinos and promised us deino for a long time. Now they’re adding Rex and trike, but I still think they’re trying to take it slowly.
