Both are cheaply made bikes. Never used Z20 if you have money buy something with a mid drive bosch for example as needs no high maintenance. Fiido is the cheapest foldable ebike. People exchange many parts on this bike. Myself i spend over £300 in parts. If you want something for leisure D4s is good and cheap.

Hi. I will not advise to mess with the rear wire. Invest in a good tyre and also put anti puncture tape. Schwalbe is a good brand for tyres.

@@londonbikeride7566 Okay yes swalbe tire's are definitely good do you think there is enough slack in the rear motor cable when unclipped to be able to change the tyre's without having to disconnect the wires completely at the control box ?.

@@Foxy57237 I changed my tyre is not very hard you just have to work very close to the bike. I did it alone.. a bike shop can do it for you also.

You're very welcome was about to delete the channel as i don't do youtube anymore. You can't put a 48v battery as per my knowledge. Leave the bike how it is and don't mess with the controller. Enjoy it how it is:)

Morning. I did this in order to use more than a battery. In this case i can have 2-3 batteries with me. I can swap them in seconds just by swapping the cables. At the moment i can go 100km on throttle minimum without pedaling and if i am close to home i can drop some batteries to charge while i still ride my bike. In do Uber Eats and Deliveroo and this modification makes me have unlimited range if a deliver in my area. Did not installed any fender as i have installed very wide tyre recently.

Didn't see a difference between this bike and a normal bike. Just a little cable powering the motor making it uncomfortable to handle. Not hard to do.

@@londonbikeride7566 I found it easy to change the inner tube and tyre no problem ,but I was thinking of putting a plug of some sort on the wire from back wheel to disconnect when taking the wheel off completely

@@barriegould That wire had some sort of coating honestly it's better to be left how it is. Looks strong and i will not dare to cut it. A bit more work when a puncture happens. Invest in a good tyre!

@@londonbikeride7566 that's very true I have got new tyres on but when I put new brake disc on I had to run the wire out and it took a few mins so just thought it might be easy to place plug on it but I think I will just leave it alone ,thanks for the advice

Hi! All batteries have chargers! All use the same charger as Fiido the homemade battery charges thru xt60 port.

Yes! Yesterday heavy rain on uber eats😬. Still working had my batteries in the delivery bag and no mudguards. All good. 😺

Hi! I used to do Delivery with 3 extra batteries now I got a Petrol Scooter. Is good for part time. Buy any Kryptonite D or U lock and no one will steal it. Anyway you will be around the bike always.

Hi. No you don't have to change the controller. It improves the range only. You need a 36v battery! Avoid the fake very cheap Chinese ones with exaggerate amperage.

Yes i have parallel on my D2s and this method on D4s. Switching batteries is better and safer. I have 3 types of batteries i am using. 3 different Bms in each battery. This is not ok to connect and disconnect. Much safer with cables like in this video: Advantages: Separate charging-faster charging. Never connect batteries together. You can use any type of battery and capacity as long as is 36v. You can swap them easily on the road. Don't have to measure voltage before connecting as it will go separate to the controller. You can connect as many batterie as you want. If you plan a full day trip you will need 2-3 batteries. I use a battery for 2 hours. As i am using this set up every day. I am finding it much better than the parallel connection. In a parallel connection if a battery is faulty it can damage the other ones connected. Parallel connection is ok but this method is just too perfect. I only see advantages here.

Non si possono collegare due batterie in parallelo DIRETTAMENTE perché quella più carica si scarica in quella meno carica (scarica parziale ovviamente) è impossibile che le due batterie siano costantemente alla stessa tensione, quindi il sistema a connettori è sicuro al 100% ma è decisamente SCOMODO ! il sistema più semplice è quello del collegamento delle due batterie con due diodi di potenza almeno da 10A cadauno in questo modo le due batterie sono collegate insieme ma nello stesso tempo nessuno delle due batterie si può scaricare nell'altra, ma introducono una perdita di transito di 0,6 Volt (accettabile). Altri sistemi (a perdita 0 Volt) sono : un Relè comandato da un pulsante, o un sistema a microcontrollore (sempre asservito da Relè) che collega / commuta automaticamente la batteria carica appena quella principale raggiunge un valore prefissato. Su e-bay ci sono schede pronte all'uso costo medio 5$ queste soluzioni richiedono esperienza nel settore elettronico, ma costano poco.

The soldering kit costs around£10-15 you can use it after for another jobs. Best way is soldering. Watch some youtube videos about how to solder a wire or something similar it's easy to do. This method is to double the capacity of the battery. If you want to go long distances do it like this. ;) good luck

@@londonbikeride7566 Not really. I have Xiaomi M365 Pro electric scooter and its engine on 10 inch wheels is rated as 350W. I set Eco mode on it to max 480W, Drive mode to 880W and Sport mode to 1070W. I have 1250 km on my electric scooter and the battery charges till 99%. No any signs of problem. I opened m365 pro engine to see inside of it. Everything like new. So, these engines are said to have 250W or 350W, but could easily pull 1000W. It is all about the custom firmware you can install, which unlocks the power and other settings. I am sure this D4s could easily be used as 900W out of this engine and the battery. Somebody would need to hack the firmware :) Not easy often.

@@YouInVR I have m365 also and used the russian firmware but via bluetooth and flash it. I don't think that Fiido d4s has bluetooth. Also this bike goes 38 km/h on 36v battery i believe this is maximum possible on a 36v battery. Probably changing controller and battery will make it faster but i don't want to spend money on it. Is faster enough for me.

@@londonbikeride7566 I am thinking about power. Uphill, acceleration. No need to go faster than say 35 km/h.
