I'm so glad that Fiio is stepping up, and finally putting out a decent quality player. It's been so long since anything like this has been on the market, and for a great price no less!
Really enjoyed the review of this and nice to see you pair it with some Koss headphones! I’ve been kicking around picking up a vintage portable CD player but a new portable cassette player might also scratch that itch!
May be too late, but I'm just rediscovering the world of cassettes, and definitely on the prowl for a decent device to use for enjoying the audio to the fullest. This seems like the best new one you can buy and I love the design and color of it (blue/silver is better than black/white). I would prefer having the recording functionality of the We Are Rewind, but at US $159 it's a steep jump in MSRP. For anyone else who missed their chance or did not win the giveaway, Aliexpress does have the FiiO Cp13 selling at US $99 with two-week shipping time. Amazon is also $99 but won't deliver any until mid-May.
