The best Fijian sidestepper I've ever seen is Vilimoni Delasau. He still hold the most tries of 82 scored in a series since 2000. No one has broken that.

getting side step by say Tuwai, you feel frustrated and start to loose your focus and ill discipline starts to set in, you starts giving away silly penalties. And in the 7s game, possession is everything to win. dangerous thing is there’s always someone supporting as soon they start their offload game. fijians are just natural 7s players.

these fijian players will win hands down...these fijian players are 7s specialist while the non-fijian freakish players from the WCUP 2019 are 15s specialists. the dynamics of the game are different and thus, the fijian 7s specialists will easily win. You dont have to look far for an example, try SBW, he came from 15s. He tried his luck with the New Zealand 7s team and was outplayed in 7s

Put very talented players in front of Fijians and that will spur him to give his best to prove he's got what it takes to outshine them. Once a Fijian knows in his mind that he can beat the opposition he will surely mesmerise and toy with you.
