I have wrecked some files and even a nice carbide grinder bit on aluminum over the years (yes, I know about aluminum/zinc files. but I didn't have any). Thanks for the great tip; wish I'd known it earlier.
Me too!!!! Nobody told us!!! We had to learn the hard way!!!!!! LOL The files are an easy fix but the stones are a little harder!!!! LOL Thanks again!!!!!!!
NIce! I'm sure there's good story about how to get a piece of copper pipe to be file cleaner. Learned something new today. Thanks and enjoy the weekend
Thanks! I have some spare copper pipe but I still haven't purchased a file card, hoping I locate one in the mess I call my shop. Did you make those soft jaws or purchase them?
Nice tip. Thanks for sharing. When making the MMO and grease mixture, is the process and the ratios the same? Another question have you ever used a saw mandrel with an electric motor? I found an old one in dads collection
I have a couple files that are really plugged in. Wild cards and dental picks can't get most of it, so I'll try this new trick that you should. Thank you!
