Filene's Demo 

I worked here from 1993-2006 my office was on that part of the Filene’s building so sad it is all gone now ☹️

I visited Filene's more than once, starting in the '60s. I'm surprised the crane was pulling and scraping stuff into the street instead of pushing it into the center of the building.

It makes me sad to see such a great price of iron take such a beating.

Wow, how sad. I worked at Jordan Marsh across the street from 1984 until it merged with Abraham and Straus in NYC in 1992. What exactly is in Downtown Crossing now? The last I was down there was in 2005. It was fairly scary, just a ghost town.

They only tore down part of the building. A majority of the building was left. The bottom 4 floors is now Primark

That steel gurter must of shoock the ground when it hit
