BANYA - is a Russian tradition steam bath in a wooden house with a wooden stove. It is a part of their culture in which the purpose is to sweat, and let out the toxins in the body of bathers. It also helps to relax and reduce stress.

That so nice of them to accomodate you in Banya. 💖That warm and cozy fireplace means a lot for a cold, freezing place. They have a unique fire door because it is a bit smaller and tough. The simple and neat quality of wood of Banya is so neat and attractive. It's the same design as with Japans'. The bowls and jars are similar with Chinas' though their traditions are mostly imprinted on it. Now I know what's that pail is hanging up there. Coz I only saw it in Jack and Jill Nursery rhyme.🥰 And you only whip your Husband when he's going to be naughty. 😄💞💚🧡 By the way, that purple flower box is so beautiful.🌸 Thanks to your Mother-in-laws good Friend! 👍🌹💖🧡💚

They are so kind, they even teach and shared their culture to me. Whenever I go to meet my husband or my in-laws friends they always have gifts for me. Sometimes, I feel so shy because they always did it and they even prepared traditional foods for me🥰 I’m so blessed that I met them. And all inside the Banya is so amazing specially if you see it in person. They used natural materials, also they good at keeping their special things.

@@TheZinovevs I noticed that, too. I think giving gifts is a part of their close-knit relationship with other people. Even with the "Islandlyf's vlog", they are the same with Darlene when they were still in Russia before, lavishing her with gifts of crochets and hot-baked foods. 🥐🌭 That was so thoughful of them.💖 I loss the notion that they were known as cold and scary people due to their distant aura. 🌷

@pintados3041 Yes po, actually they are kind to those people who are kind to them too. It’s just that they are not smiley and have a distant aura as what you’ve said po, that’s why maybe foreigners will think that they are not approachable 😅

@@pintados3041просто русские которые любят вас( или кому вы понравились) это одно, а русские которым вы не нравитесь это поверьте совсем другое. Если мы любим мы и правда очень заботливые. А ещë мы любим, чтобы иностранцу было хорошо в нашей стране. Особенно девушке разумеется. Ведь вы далеко от своих ( родных и друзей) и мы понимаем, что бывает и страшно и грустно. Вот и дарим подарки. Чтобы человек понимал, что он не один, чтобы ему было хорошо и комфортно по возможности. Мы русские любим иностранцев. И поверьте мы русские друг к другу относимся часто совершенно по иному( намного хуже).
