Behold the miracles. Cleaning the cabinets. Never seen a US woman do anything like that. And they seem to be having fun doing the clean up. They bring their own fun wherever they go. Many complain about dealing with a Filipina's family, but Single Dad has it dialed in and enjoying being part of the extended family. 3rd miracle...small kitchen is so much easier to keep clean. In the US most want huge kitchen, double fridge, pantry stocked with food they'll never eat. Simple life is much more enjoyable. I eat a can of sardines almost everyday.
I think it's too hot to store canned food under the tin roof in the attic. When I was in PH, and had things I didn't want anyone to touch. I locked it in my suitcase. When something happens, everyone will come to you for help.
Lock in the food / preparation. And hide the key. If they want you to be in charge of feeding everyone, you need to be in full control. You can't be responsible if they don't do what you say. Harsh but true.

Exactly. Have an emergency ladies + family stash. As long as you keep it stocked with the correct instructions 😁, you may be able to sort the problem. Providing you have a separate emergency lock up. A generator is also no a silly idea. In Queensland Australia, cyclones are a yearly event.

Take mowing the lawn, sure I could do it myself but I'd rather pay my grandson a few buck to spend 20 minutes doing it. I'm happy cuz the lawn got mowed without me and he's happy cuz he made some money for doing what he does at home for free. Being willing to let someone else make some money isn't lazy, it's spreading it around the same way you got it. By working!

I used to try to load up on groceries, to save a little by buying bulk... It doesn't work, my Filipina wife just gained 12 kg, from trying it... Especially anything from the Oriental store...

Hey Markos no offense but i couldnt even imagine having to deal with the language barrier ur under. I would go crazy if i wouldnt understand my filipina most of the day. Im a german plus im kind of fluent in english. Now philippines has the calling to be one the best english speaking country in the asian but you need to get together with filipinas who are so broken in it you fight daily to make them even talk a little bit. It makes me every time i watch ur vlogs wonder why ur still so happy. For me im a communicative person. I guess ur compensating this lack of conversational exchange with tons of video production where you can just talk. I would just send them to language school. Id even make my filipina learn german. Thats the way it is. Call me evil or reasonable.
You can't make anyone do anything. I'd suggest that you learn their language as you're the foreigner and a guest in their country. If communication is so important to you, then you should put in the effort to learn the native language.
it would be a good idea if you can build a home for your children, living in a rented house for the rest of your life is not good because when the job ends the rent is not affordable and people end up living on the street, build a home man 💛

Your words hurt you ask these kids how they feel about their sister abandoning them. Their sister a twelve year old girl most likely was forced or had no choice but to marry and not be allowed to visit or contact them! Exasperating people pain and suffering just sucks especially children. I appreciate and respect what you’re doing to show people everywhere how these people are suffering with this terrible poverty. Trying to get donations is admirable also! Asking these people the same obviously painful question over and over just doesn’t make sense to me!
