Hello, Thanks for the upload. Just a couple of things. Firstly if the previous owner had paid cash for the car from the dealer there will be no NOC. Instead there will be an OR (Official Receipt from the dealer) and it was white in Bacolod Negros OCC. It may vary in other parts of The Philippines. Next and this is a BIG THING. When you go to register your car or reregister your car NEVER EVER just go to the insurance company next to the LTO. You do need to go to the LTO and get the form first but shop around. I was lucky that when I purchased my vehicle it came with 12 months insurance. When I went to redo the registration 12 months later and went to the insurance broker directly across the road from the LTO the amount was three times more than what the dealer had paid. I walked out and contacted the insurance company it was already insured with and went to their office which was only a five minute drive away and had it reinsured with them for another year. It was an extra 80 or 100 pesos dearer but nothing like the three times which the broker across the street were asking. Thanks again
Great content guys.i am planning to buy a car in Philippines.good timing you making this video.i screen shoot the last info.what we need if we buy a car.thank you so much.Fil-am from Bohol and Louisiana.
Congrats, you did good ! Very nice car very clean and also a very nice color being fire red. WOW, Kia should have that model in US also but no, there they are different just like any car is different in Europe and what it is in US. It's so funny to see like a MIni being diesel in Europe that you don't see in the US. Good luck, stay happy and healthy.
The newer trikes (tuk tuks) like the piagio, are more spacious. The older trikes are really a pain to get in and out even for me, 5’7” and 170 lbs. In the island i live in, the older small trikes are slowly being phased off.
I had a multicab for a few years. It worked fine, but I was roasted and beat up by the time I got anywhere. It’s like driving a golf cart over these bumpy roads, and the motor is right under the seat. So good choice 👍. Enjoy your new country, it’s nice here.
Thanks for the feedback. I see so many here , so they can’t be as unreliable as people make them out to be. But suspension and AC can’t be overlooked. Thanks for watching 😀
"We can finance anyone, even you". "I have to get my manager's permission to take your offer for only $5,000 more than it's worth". I think I will prefer buying cars in Philippines more than USA 😆
I am new to your channel so I subscribed...Is there a Toyota Dealership in Dumaguete? I plan to move there once things open up as my girlfriend lives in Dumaguete.
Wait...what? You were worried about being able to fit in trikes so you buy a car the size of a go cart? 😆 I have worried about the same issue. I'm 6'3" 280lbs. Don't see using trikes.
Be very careful driving here, if you are involved in an accident it will almost always be the foreigners fault. If there are damages you will be required to pay...If the amount is high you can be detained at the local jail until all financials are settled.
