I love how passionate our country people are, but idk if it's just me. I wanna go to a concert and want to be able to hear the artist sing xD i feel like we overdo it but eh, that's our culture 🤣🤣
I feel the same way. I wanna enjoy a concert where I can hear the artist sing. There's nothing wrong with fans cheering or screaming, but I think its important to have good balance between the fans and the artist, so both can be heard clearly.
Yeah. When we filipinos cheer for our idols, the artists while performing wouldn't be able to hear themselves for a while. We don't cheer, actually. We roar 😁
Aside being avid fans and overflowing love as fans, minsan lang kasi talaga tayo puntahan dito ng mga concerts. Nakailang world tour na, swertihan pa kung masama Pinas. Kaya sobra sobra talaga sigawan😍 It's more like, "Puta bumalik ulit kayo!!!!"🤣😅
If you want an audience that will be quiet for your entrance, I am so sorry IU that won't happen here in the Philippines. We like to overwhelm our idols with our love. Twice bear witness to that and Blackpink as well! We love you, IU!!!!
As a Latin/ Mediterranean (🇧🇷🇮🇹) girl the Philippines is the first country I would like to visit in Asia… The ppl there seems to be so fine, humble (which’s a huge thing for me) and open hearted, so I feel I won’t be so far from my own cultures!! Not to mention the weird similarities between Tagalog, Portuguese, Italian and every other neo-Latin language lol… I’m a huge stan of Bailey May from Now United and one day when he said “kumusta?” in a video I thought “tf he’s hanging out so much with my Mexican girls that he randomly started to speak in Spanish/ Portuguese???” and then I find out it wasn’t “cómo estás” or maybe a nice try to say “como você está?” since there’s also a Portuguese speaker in there, it was “how are u?” in his own mother tongue LOL (it was so funny and weird at the same time to find this out)!!
yeah there’s a huge amount of spanish loan words in filipino, and elements of the same spanish culture that spread to latin america. My grandmother in the Philippines actually spoke Spanish even! I guess that influence comes naturally with hundreds of years of colonization 😅.
You don't know that Philippines was colonized by Spaniards for 333 years? We also have a place here were people spoke slang Spanish. And it's not hard for us to learn the language since some words are familiar to us. Not to mention it was also taught in college before.
I still tear up hearing her words for the Philippines. Even though I wasn’t there at the concert, I could still feel my goosebumps. Philippines really did well in showing love for IU. Indeed, IU being here was worth it for her and for the fans🤍
Actually my sister came into her concert and memorized all of her song and exactly in the video my sister was there in manila iu concert im in philippines and im a filipino
reminds me when filipinos were furious about korean crowd who didn't scream and go wild during Morissete Amon's performance in South Korea. in Korea, audience actually stay silent to listen and respect the performer, instead of overwhelming the artist with loud cheers.
Us Pinoys don’t wanna disrespect the performers but we are there to celebrate the concert. Also about Morissette I think it’s not just the cheer but no one even clapped it kinda felt like no one appreciate her performance so there is a bit of difference there. But the next time she sang she added some Korean lyrics then we got some cheers because they appreciate her.
The thing about artist doing concerts here, although we have no idea who's who, you feel like you belong in the crowd.
BRO IF I WAS THERE I WOULD'VE SHOUTED SAYING "SHUT UP I WANNA HEAR IU SING" BUT STILL SHOUT WITH THEM REGARDLESS WVDCJHSXVSVMX gosh i love our passionate cheering
Fans should allow the artists to perform and respect others who want to enjoy the artist’s singing. Please be respectful. Just please learn to balance.
Watching video’s again from IU’s concert in Manila #IUinManila #lovepoeminmanila makes me happy and proud that I am a Filo-Uaena/ Ma-aena. IU once said: “NO ONE CAN BEAT MANILA” the loudest cheer she ever heard.
I remember when everyone was shouting "iiyak an yan" and she looks so confused🤣 (Because she can't understand tagalog and i think everyone forgot that🤣)
Its not only IU, a lot of hollywood singers have incredible memory over Filipino fans having the best support system during concert. Nothing can beat Filipino fans' energy among their world tour.
i keep on seeing this video and i always feel proud that international artists feel so welcomed in my country especially when it comes to concerts like this and how filipino audience respond to every performances.
I think it's because this audience was excited about two things--your presence and your voice--and they didn't have enough time to get over the first. They don't get to see you every day on the TV, you know.
I love IU...🥰🥰🥰😘 Im 40 but my daughter 11 introduce me to IU on Scarlet Heart since then i do research about her... she's (very) good both singing and acting
You are my forever idol IU I watch your k drama I even sing your songs I want to see you in person someday like concerts but I dont have a chance because I'm busy working far from my family I'm ofw I work in Taiwan for 8years now to support my son and family your songs give me such a good spirit and I hope to sing with you someday too keep safe always and be happy always we your fans loves you so much 😉😍😘
If I could attend a concert I'd screech and scream like a cat because wow. Make the most out of the concert because you never know if it's the only time you see your idol face-to-face.
kanya kanyang trip lang yan kaya respeto lamang tayo sa bawat opinyon natin.whether your music idol is into with, you as a fan with get into it too.CHEERS TO ALL !!!!!
