I gasped when you tried the pork intestines and pig ears because people who are not familiar with the Filipino cuisine tend to be intimidated by those types of foods. I’m Filipino-Canadian and I’m amazed with your open-mindedness to trying foods other than Filipino pork bbq and pancit 😂 You’ve earned my respect!
actually filipino ice cream carts have a bread called "monay" more like a dinner roll.. and stuffed the monay with ice cream.. now that is our childhood snack..
When I worked in Manhattan in NY before, I asked one colleague if he wanted to try a newly opened Filipino restaurant. I was surprised to see 12 of them joining me and the boss getting mad later when we came back because hardly anyone was at the office. I didn't expect Filipino food would make them excited to come with me. :-)
Is it just me? Whenever I see a food review and sisig is being served. My head screams "mix it! Mix it" i feel like I want to go in and mix it myself 🤣🤣🤣
Wow the food looks so good, those are legit Filipino cuisine, no added fusion bs haha and I like how you ate it all correctly, using the calamansi, the dipping sauces and eating with rice
Sisig was one of Anthony Bourdain’s favorites. It has become a very popular Filipino dish and rightfully so! It is truly delicious and a must try for everyone. Calories galore but truly worth it.
We are so proud for our food you bieng tried man thank you so much you been really like it....the ginataang kalabasa the coconut milk made it sweet...god blissed you...more filipino food and other virsion of our food...
I absolutely admire your genuine interest and organic reaction to Filipino dishes featured in this blog. I commend you going ham filling up ube pandesal with vanilla ice cream - in fact we do stuff pandesal with Ice cream in lieau of ice cream cones - pure nostalgia 👍👍👍
the food you ate for today is really great.. i am glad you like it so much i feel like i am hungry during the time that im watching you eat filipino foods.. Thank you for trying filipino dishes, i suggest you try more like Pork sinigang, Kare-Kare, Pork Dinuguan ang other authentic filipino dishes that you haven't tried before I'm sure you would really like it also... Enjoy your meal and have a blessed day ahead... New Friend from the Philippines here :)
Not sure what other filipino foods you have tried but there is so much more to try. For soups, try tinola, sinigang and bulalo. For chicken, try adobo of course, afritada, relyeno. For pork, try lechon kawali, bicol express or binagoongan. For beef, try menudo, bifstek kaldereta and kare kare oxtail. For desserts, try leche flan, ginataan and brasso de mercedes. You enjoy filipino food so much that you figured out the ice cream pandesal. They sell that in the philippines
The palabok, crispy pata and chicken looks delicious and I can almost taste them from here. These are all the favorite filipino food I want. I'm craving for them
ice cream in bread yeah it's street food back in the Philippines.! vendors of ice-cream in push carts offer them a choice between cone or bread (pandesal)
@@eduardochavacano Well, many of us do it, and i can considered myself and my neighbors as a well upper middle class peoples who live in private subdivisions here in Lucena City, Quezon Province, Philippines. And its already a norms here since 1960s told by my Parents and Grandparents.
Romeo Civilino I am slightly exaggerating. My point is, so much has been promoted as Cultural when it is not! The only culture you see in the Ice Cream on Bun is the Culture of Poverty and Corruption. The Philippines can not change or progress, if people will chose to celebrate their Poverty or Culture of Poverty. The middle is largely to blame. It is the middle class who can have access to RU-vid. While eating Ice Cream on a bun is not totally repulsive. It is revolting to see every Pinoy Baiting vlogger rave about something is actually Fake.
did sederapa say its a culture thing? he just remember ice cream vendors in Philippines (dirty ice creams) offering cone or bread (not pandesal it’s monay). dont be cry baby, just chill and watch Eduardo.
Man, my mouth literally watered with saliva when I saw this video...I am glad you are enjoying Filipino food! The ones you tasted snd sampled are all my favorites, too! Happy eating Bro!
I like this guy. He thinks Filipino. All the food combinations you've made are not new to us. That means you are one of us! You earned another subscriber ! :)
That is not a Filipino thing!!! These lies, lies, and more lies make Intelligent Foreigners dont admire Filipino cuisines. Too much bull shitting by very Insecure Filipinos who are very Ignorant about Filipino cuisine. Those who say Ube Pan de Sal or ice cream on Bread is Filipino Food, these are people who cant afford good food and have only eaten Tapsilog their entire lives.
@@eduardochavacano What are you saying is an contradictory , whether it is food originally consumed by Poor or Dishes by the Upper Class as long it is consumed here in the Philippines for decades, we can say that its a Filipino Food. Don't put Filipino Food in your limited views and shove like everything in a box context.
Ice cream sandwiches are also sold in the Philippines. The way did it but with a local kind of brioche like bread, not pandesal. It is a popular street snack sold by local "sorbeteros" or ice cream vendors.
I am salivating looking the way you eat. Watching from Florida USA. I miss that food. Ice cream sandwich is not new to Filipino. We are doing that since I was a young boy.
Excellent video! Spot on with craving beer with the crispy pork skin. Sisig, crispy pata, the ears -- basically anything pork and deep fried -- are usual munchies for while drinking with others. And fun fact, it is normal for us in the Philippines to use ice cream (sometimes ube ice cream) as a filler in between pan de sal (local bread), so I really enjoyed the twist you made by using vanilla ice cream in between the ube pan de sal. I will need to try that one time! PS that crispy pata did seem legit! It's not always guaranteed to be that juicy inside so the people who made it knew their stuff :D
You know what's best with the Ube pandesal??!! If you can find it, Cheese Ice cream!! It's the bomb!! The Philippine brand SELECTA ICE CREAM has the QUEZO REAL flavored ice cream which you could probably find in a Filipino store..... It's SOOOOOO GOOD!!
