This was definitely the most insane mall I've ever seen! Thanks for suggesting it, guys!! Don't forget to LIKE / SHARE / SUBSCRIBE (hit the BELL!) if you enjoyed this video 😁
That mall is still building its expansion next to The Block. You also forgot to visit the 5 level mall extension and the humongous car park building at the back with its own home depot.
Kell is right, people. Currently, SM North Edsa is the biggest mall in the Philippines. Expansion of MOA is not yet finished so SM North Edsa still owns the title. Do your research.
Well, the largest SM Malls in GMA - North Edsa, Megamall and MOA - do seem to undergo some cyclic process where one of them becomes the biggest mall in the Philippines for a short time before another of the malls takes the mantle years later.
*This video reminds me of my life in Metro Manila. Almost every day I was in the mall, after school, after work, and during weekends. These are my best places and malls for hangin' out and past times... Ayala Center Makati (Glorietta, Greenbelt, Sm Makati, and Landmark), Sm Megamall, and Robinson's Galleria in Ortigas. When I worked and live in Kuwait for over ten years, I am longing for these gigantic malls in the Philippines. They have also malls there but not as grand as in my country, but they have now that big mall which is the Avenues. I love the overall design of that mall, many of the shops, hall, and alleyways are inspired from the European and American architecture and it feels like you are in the west. Then I moved here in Canada since January 2013, been to Stephen Avenue in Calgary and it reminds of The Avenues in Kuwait. We have here the Chinook, Cross Iron malls in Calgary, then the biggest mall in North America the West Edmonton Mall. After finishing my 2 years contract in Alberta, I moved here in one of the biggest cities in Canada, Toronto. Guess what? My habit and lifestyle of mall hoppin' in the Phils., I also did here in Toronto for over two years, hangin' out in Eaton Centre and Yorkdale, these are two of the big and famous malls here in Ontario. It's cool, and beautiful also. But again, they are not as grand and gigantic as the malls in the Philippines.* I keep on smiling the whole time while watching your video. So nostalgic really. Thank you Kell for your vlog.
Kell its the 4th largest mall in the world as if Jan 2019...the 1 and 3rd spot is in China while the second spot is also in China but owned also by the SM group of Company called the SM Tianjin in Tianjin China😊 but come 2021 or 2022 SM MALL OF ASIA WILL RESURRECT ITS TITLE AS THE BIGGEST MALL IN THE WORLD BECAUSE AS OF NOW THEY ARE STILL IN EXPANSION RENOVATION CONSTRUCTION PLUS THE BIGGEST IKEA SHOPPING MALL FOR FIXTURES THEIR BIGGEST MALL IN THE WORLD WILL BE BUILT BESIDE MALL OF ASIA BY 2021
SM North EDSA is no longer the 4th largest mall in the world. With the opening of Mall of Iran or Iran Mall in Tehran (2017), the ICONSIAM in Bangkok (2018), the the expansion of 1 Utama in Kuala Lumpur in 2018, SM North EDSA slipped down to 7th place. SM Tianjin also slipped down to third place as Iran Mall took 2nd spot. Iran Mall is still expanding and will be completed in 2020, once completed, it would probably take the number 1 spot.
Vinz GL according to the world atlas website as of feb 2019 yeah it made changes but SM North EDSA makes it to the 6th place not 7th ICON SIAM is now much bigger than SM North Edsa by a sheer size and you are right IRan Mall may take the 1st spot but who knows a family member of mine who worls at SMDC main corporate office says SM group of company has still plans to make their flagship project before the SM Mall of Asia to be their biggest mall so far surpassing what they had built in Tianjin,an ambitious project when to be completed by 2021 or so accompanaying the biggest IKEA store in the World which will be fully completed in the MOA complex area by 2021 too
For me, Festival Alabang is the mall with the nicest outside area in the Philippines because it has wonderful outdoor attractions. It is the only mall in the Philippines that is traversed by a river. It has 2 parks and boardwalks near the river. Inside the mall, there are also wonderful attractions. It has 2 large indoor amusement centers and one of them has a roller coaster. It is the only mall in the Philippines with a train ride inside. It is one of the largest malls in the Philippines. For me, Festival Alabang is the most fantastic mall in the Philippines.
*Been there in Festival mall, yeah it's beautiful outside and also Alabang Town Center nearby. But I still prefer Mall of Asia when it comes to outside of the mall, it's beautiful and more entertaining plus the view of the sunset ohh wow!*
You bypassed Skydome, Cybercity and the cinema area. They're split for iMAX and traditional but it's okay. But I really think the malls with beautiful landscape are SM Seaside in Cebu and Festival Mall
Kuya Kell i suggest you have a fun travelling at the ENCHANTED KINGDOM AT THE LAGUNA it like am having more rides that you must really enjoy its beautiful for you to travell kuya Kell💝😊
that intro, kell was literally flying. lol didn't expect a good laugh in the start of the video. his energy matches filipinos. i hope you could include like behind the scenes, like the travel, the hustle/hassle & stuff. times when you're irritated, frustrated of your philippine travel. i think people won't mind.
Me and my family basically consider SM North EDSA our "second home" for about 3 decades now, and it's been surreal seeing it get the mantle of "largest mall in the Philippines" at some points in its history. From the time when the old SM Annex had movie theaters and A&W, to when the Carpark building held Cyberzone, to visiting the once existing Super Sale Club after walking through the gigantic parking lot that is now The Block, it's a very dear and familiar mall to us here.
Hey kell, try to visit in BGC in Taguig city another amazing place in Manila..a must visit place before you leave Manila for an island hopping tour in the Philippines!
Hahaha you've just been to the 3 areas of that mall, the City Center (main mall originally built in the 80's), Sky Garden, and The Block. What you've missed is the Annex which about 6 levels with 2levels of Cyberzone for tech and gadgets needs, the Interior Zone at the carpark building for home and office furnishing and the newest area, the North Towers, basically an indoor retail and food strip under 5 office and hotel towers. Interestingly, a visit to SM North wouldn't be complete without visiting the ayala malls on the other side, Trinoma & Vertis North. It's connected to the SM via footbridge from Sky Garden. Trinoma is the mall connected to the train line going south to Megamall, Mall of Asia, Makati or BGC. Not so much of a hassle riding the MRT Southbound from noontime onwards so its highly recommended.
In my opinion, you should've just used the Broskis channel. Just rename it as your own. You could've kept the subscription and viewers growing. I'll still follow you here and hope it grows like the Broskis.💪💪🤘🤘
This comment made me curious and searched for that channel... i agree that he could’ve kept the 22k subscribers there. Unless he wants to keep a channel for himself. 😊
Haha the dynamite challenge is really nothing for you Kell! 😋 Congrats Enzo for still facing the challenge kahit dejado ka from Kell! 😂 That was guys! 🤗🤗
Oh my I love dynamite!!!... Speaking of challenges why dont you guys try the famous samyang 3x hot for your spicy noodles challenge..it's available at the any supermarkets
SM North EDSA is the second (2nd) largest mall in the Philippines. The biggest is SM Mega Mall in Mandaluyong City.....Here is the list of the 8 biggest malls in the Philippines: 1. SM Megamall, Mandaluyong. ... 2. SM City North EDSA, Quezon City. ... 3. SM Mall of Asia, Bay City, Pasay. ... 4. SM City Cebu, Cebu. ... 5. Glorietta Mall, Makati. ... 6. Greenbelt Mall, Makati. ... 7. Robinsons Place, Manila. ... 8. SM Aura Premier, Taguig.
@@julius866 kaya hindi ako lagi naniniwala sa wikipedia eh. Obvious nman na mas malaki ang MOA kesa SM North. U dont need wikipedia for that. Just go to those places and see for yourself. Nalilibot ko buong SM North within minutes, pero ang MOA I wouldn't dare.
You're so weird! I love it! I'm from the area, and if I see you or someone who vlogs as comically as you do - I think I'd laugh my ass off. Cheers, glad you're loving the Philippines!
SM NORTH has the Sky Garden, City Center and The Block, there are 2 more parts The Annex and The Interior Zone. Also there is other extensions and an office/commercial building being constructed. And also connected to SM NORTH is the Grass Residences, a 5 tower condominium complex owned by SM.
I think the ranking of the biggest mall for SM(there are other big malls which are not SM) are SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, SM Megamall(has several buildings connected to each other) in Mandaluyong, then SM North Edsa in Quezon City...all in Metro Manila, Philippines...
You should also try going at SM SEASIDE here in Cebu because it's the biggest indoor mall in the Philippines and one of the biggest malls in the world. Try it and you'll go crazy roaming in a super gigantic indoor mall with an open park at the 4th floor and a big ice skating rink . Hope you'll notice this😊
The food court in this mall was phenomenal. I am from the USA and after I finished my food I walked around with my tray for a half an hour looking for a garbage. Then my fiancee texted me and informed me that in the Philippines you do not throw your own garbage away at the food court.
SM North Edsa is the 4th largest mall in the world. The 1st and 3rd largest mall are from China although the 2nd is also from China but owned by SM Prime Holdings same as SM North Edsa. The 5th largest mall also from the Philippines namely SM Megamall.
You should check out Greenbelt Mall and park if you haven’t been there because the laaaandscape is the most amazing piece of work you’d see in a mall in Asia, if not the whole world.
When eating spicy food the great remedy for this is....Milk contains casein, a fat-loving substance that essentially has a detergent effect on the capsaicin, just like soap has on grease. But it has to be mammal’s milk - coconut milk does not contain casein.
Mall of Asia is the biggest mall, not SM North Edsa. Enzo doesn't know coz maybe he's not from Manila. Anyway, this is still a great vid about SM North. Keep it up!
Mall of Asia is under expansion renovation, I heard when it finished it will become the Biggest Mall in the World.but for now this beautiful SM North Edsa is the title holder of the biggest Mall in the Philippines and one of the biggest in the world. 😊
