Balut is locally and internationally known as an exotic Filipino street food. I grew up seeing it being sold mostly at night by balut vendors who roam around the neighbourhood, shouting "Baluuuuuut"! And it's one of my favorite Filipino dishes that I don't normally eat everyday.
In this video, we visited Pateros city, the origin of Balut where local ducks (Itik) used to grow and produce eggs. We met some of the vendors and food business owners that contributes to the daily selling and consumption of our delicious delicacy. We had the following on this amazing Pateros Food Tour!
