Dude, props to you for this sermon. My wife and I watched together and at the end we said there are so many pastors and churches who wouldn’t touch this topic with a 10’ pole.

I love hearing messages about the Holy Spirit. I became baptized in the Holy Spirit 60 years ago. Anyone Baptized in the Spirit believes its for everyone and that everyone should desire to be filled. Those who are not filled have all kinds of theories and teachings that once they are Baptized in the Spirit they no longer believe. They understand why those who are want everyone to share in this blessing. Just like Paul wanted them to. Does it edify individuals? For sure. Who of us doesn't need edification or equipping. I Cor 14:2 For he that speaks in an unknown tongue speaks not unto men, but unto God and that person is speaking Mysteries in the Spirit. Speaking in tongues of men and of angels. When I was younger I went to a ladies prayer meeting and one woman wanted prayer for her husband, so she asked everyone to agree with her as she prayed. She began to pray for her husband to be miserable as his lunch hour so that it would cause him to want to read his Bible and get closer to God. I instantly could not agree with that prayer. I thought, Oh Lord don't let anyone pray with their own understanding for me, but let them pray in the Spirit and trust God to orchestrate my life. I thought that she hoped that if he became miserable he would turn to the Bible, but what if he turned to a coworker instead. I quickly learned maybe all specific prayer is not good. Another story is that when the husband of one of my friends had first come to church, he heard corporate praying in the Spirit. He said one person was praying over and over a phrase in HUNGARIAN which was his birth language. He checked to see if that person knew Hungarian and they did not. He said he knew instantly is was God having them pray in His language. I love the gently sweet flow of corporate praying in the Spirit. It draws men to God, and they to desire earnestly the deeper things of God. To bad man gets in the way. I think as it gets closer to the Coming of Jesus and Satan goes around LIKE a roaring lion, the Saints will want the equipping that comes with Praying in the Spirit. Won't Heaven be Grand.
