I love Spring and Autumn. Summer means long long days and winter is short days. I love a crisp winter morning. At the moment it’s soggy outside and miserable and dark. The not so nice part of autumn! Love the way this is coming together. When I paint over the pages I like to leave a few words visible, a kind of experimental poetry is how I think of it! TFS 😊💕🌷

Christmas is my favourite time, but I dislike all the snow we get here in Ontario Canada, but some snow is ok. Spring is great all the budding trees and the flowers coming up! Fall is beautiful with all the leaves changing the reds, browns, green and yellow are gorgeous. Summer is great because we get in lots of family visits and cottage time. Guess I don’t have a favourite season, I like them all! This is really taking shape, I am enjoying watching you put it together. Thanks for sharing.🇨🇦

Tina, this journal is looking really good. love 3 of the four seasons, I don’t like winter, not keen of dark nights and the cold, however I do love to see everyone’s Christmas outdoor decorations. If I had to choose one it would be Spring, I love to see everything growing and all the baby animals etc

Spring seems to be most people's favourite. I find it hard to choose, as there are things I love about all the seasons, even the winter! I love eating soups and having family meals in the dark evenings x

Hi Tina, this is turning out great. I always love your use of black lace. I never use black in anything. I can never make it quite fit in. When you use it, however, it ALWAYS looks awesome. I want to start an altered book so badly. I’m working on a journal for my Daughter-in-law for her birthday. I just finished a baby journal for her and my son. Any day now we will be leaving for Florida as she and my son are having their first baby. We live in Pennsylvania and they live in Florida. So our weather is changing and our Autumn days are in the 60’s and the nights are in the 40’s. Their weather is always warm. Their days now are in the Mid to high 80’s. So when we leave it will be a bit chilly and in 17 hours we’ll be perspiring for 2 weeks. Then back to colder weather. Like you I love all of the seasons. If I had to choose one, I think it would be the Spring. I love to see all the new growth and buds on the trees. it just feels like a whole new beginning of life. Hugs 🤗

Oh what an exciting time for your son and your daughter-in-law, and how wonderful that you are going to go over for a couple of weeks with them. I am sure they will appreciate the help, nothing more exhausting than your first baby. Spring is lovely and as you say it does create the most wonderful feeling of all the new growth, like a whole new beginning of life. X

Love the way this is turning out. I’ve just purchased some Readers Digest books to have a go at doing and altered book journal. Not sure what theme to do yet. I can’t decide which is my favourite season, as they all have good bits about them. Take care and stay safe xx

Good Morning Tina 🌞.. Your book is starting to take shape, My favorite seasons are Spring, Summer, and Fall, as I get older I don't really like the cold very much..Winter looks dreary to me, trees without leaves look sad...I like looking at the snow when it's falling after that, not so much... Spring has the smell of new life and the colors of the flowers just waking up..love it...The fall and all of its beautiful colors and the crisp air is just lovely.. Summer, I know it gets hot but, I really enjoy seeing people out and about barbecuing, picnics, family get togethers.( Hopefully, we will get back to that) so that is my take on the seasons, more than you wanted to know...lol🤭 I hope you have a great day and of course, I will see you at our next tea time 🤗

That works for me because I am a night person. It still would be too early for people who live on the east coast. Just figure what is best for your schedule with the kids back in school. There still can be a good chance that schools will close again so that could change everything. We have way too many people not wearing masks and we are getting close to starting cough and cold season. Just be prepared. Stay safe❤❤❤

Looking good. I experimented with a book and I'm really struggling with it. I think I need a thicker book with slightly thinner pages. The one I'm using has thick pages and they are not pulling out as neatly as I want 😏. TFS 😊

Definitely some books are better than others for using, you might be able to adapt it some way though. X

I keep forgetting to mention that I recently had the spine of a book become compromised. When I glued the fabric cover onto the book cover, I failed to glue the facing page into the center. This created a bubble on the very last page of my all altered hardback journal. I had to remove the entire last page and the mess underneath! This created a spine that was no longer 100% sturdy. So I used some Tyvek that I cut from a mailing envelope. I glued a strip of it over the spine. Now I have been using this method on the inside cover and facing pages, both front and back, to strengthen the spines of my books. ♥️

Hi Tina Your pages are starting to look great, can’t wait to see finished look.. 🤗Yeah I think I wish I had your seasonal weather, here we only get maybe 5 weeks of cool weather an then it’s summer all over again. 😏I didn’t even get to wear my boots or leather jackets this year.. 😤Queensland, Australia...

I'm doing a catch up Tina, n I can any time ,if it suits you better to change your time , then I'll just watch it at.my normal time at 6.15pm but I.am getting behind n that's ok ,I got more thinkers today , oh i mean my son bought home more like bout 6 different ones , so who's having more fun me or him lol , to be honest.i havnt been on it yet as he is cranking out enough that i don't need more atm , one day the new toy , he will get board of it , I hope lol x alanna
