It's an anti-siphon tube. If there was something wrong with the nozzle or if the hose fell to the ground and had a leak the whole tank of fuel could siphon out. It's a safety mechanism.
Hi Anthony. Try changing the filter first. If that doesn't work take the nozzle off and try. If the pump catches and the filter is loose you'll get soaked.
have any idea what would cause this exact kind of pump a (fill rite 20 gpm 115v) NOT to suck/pour any fuel???? A loose connection maybe?,,,, one of those vanes are chipped on the corner of it, but didnt seem like a big deal to me but maybe it is?
@@darinparest thanks,,,, i got the pump working,,,, the vanes were stuck to the rotor thingy,, the vanes wasnt dropping freely from the rotor thing, idk why it took me a long time to realize that. I seen it doing that too but didnt think nothing of it
