As a jamaican i can relate the the belt, shoes and whatever else you can beat with. As a teacher in Jamaica when we realize the parents were like this we would feel so sorry for the student we would hold back "snitching" on them so they could avoid that ass whooping. Some students were greatful and would behave better and do better in classes and some made you regret feeling sorry for them.
