Wow. Great find. I love Mona Lisa, in my opinion, it's Neil Jordan's best film - I could never get into The Crying Game. Bob, Cathy and Michael all give superb performances in this.

He and my dad shared a dressing room at the Aldwych for five months in 1976 and that was when we got to know him. He's was on the cusp of great stardom, but that would never change him. His London credentials are, shall we say, a little confused. He played up to the image of him being a river child, almost, born amidst the bomb sites of Bermondsey and with a matching accent. In reality though, he grew up in North London which is quite a different cup of tea. Mind you, as a person, he was never less than authentic.
