The crazy part of this is the play design WITHOUT the 2 starting tackles. Lucas and Cross. He was able to keep Geno from being pressured and finding unique ways to drive the field. This was masterpiece level play calling for the situation the Seahawks were in.

It’s no wonder the Bears picked up another legit tight end and an excellent receiving RB. These formations are indeed confusing as hell and CW hopefully will take good advantage of these over loaded situations with guys wide open.

I'm telling you Shane watches and studies Chip Kelly. This is the kind of stuff Chip Kelly runs every week. No surprise the Seahawks went and picked up some UCLA players this year. I know they watched a good amount of UCLA tape.

the formation is called "The Pistol" its an old and rarely used formation these days but was big with Coaches like Redskins hall of famer Joe Gibbs.

Pistol formation lol. Back in the day with ncaa 14, my buddy would run that formation over and over against me and it would drive me crazy. It’s a great concept the way they run it.

I would call that formation "The Loaded Pistol" - It has the QB and RB in a pistol formation, but adds on 2 TEs to one side.
