Look we all know this is the truth, film cameras are all getting old. It's not all doom and gloom though, there are still repair shops out there that will have them in renewed condition, and you should absolutely be taking advantage of that. Oh and next time you post a reply in the typical "what camera should I get"/"I just got this camera and I know nothing about it" make sure you let that newcomer know its probably gonna need to be fixed. "It will most likely need to be serviced" is the new canon AE-1.
To be honest, I am seeing this more and more in the internet film community and that's great, so keep it up y'all. Newcomers and veterans alike should have their expectations in check, and we should all be happy to send our beautiful camera babies out to get cleaned up to keep film alive.
