Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra) hosted a screening of a 🎥 documentary, Democracy in Debt, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 beyond the Headlines, made by activist and reporter Beena Sarwar. The screening proffered insights on the crisis of external debt on democratic values. Following which a lively discussion took place with Khawar Mumtaz, Zafar Masud and Ms Sarwar.
The event was introduced by Salima Hashmi and moderated by Jahanzeb Aslam.
