CinePrint16 is a film emulation PowerGrade for Davinci Resolve.

Here you can see 3 different looks that you can achieve using the PowerGrade. Compared to Rec709, in each film look you can see clear differences in sharpness, grain, halation, white point, highlight rolloff, shadow toe, color density, and perceptual saturation.
Shots demonstrate varying exposure conditions. All clips shot with my GH5.

Love the grades! Personally, i feel the custom film Power grade is working well in daylight scenes and the Powergrade+d55 version works well in night scenes.

@@TomBolles Ok. I am wondering if I need such a filter. Do you think such filters are useful or can everything be done with davinci resolve (not only softer image but also blooming highlights)? I use gh5 sharpness-5 and voigtlander mft f0.95 lenses mostly- f1.2-f1.7

You can do diffusion in Resolve but it looks different. I wouldn’t say it looks better or worse, that would probably depend on your taste. The advantage of doing it in Resolve is it’s flexible & adjustable & you always have the original clean image. The advantage of a physical filter is you have less work in post & your computer doesn’t have to render as much.
