This is really, really lovely, Warren - I especially love all the gorgeous details both in the BRoll and the film captures. So glad you've launched your channel!
These are impressing to me , I have a X-370 with a gnarly lense not sure of the lense but I can see up to 60 feet of clear photos it seems like haven't gotten to have them blown up but now im really considering it now ! Thanks for this beautiful video!
I have the same Minolta. It was gifted to me by my boyfriend's mother as it was her late father's camera. It takes me about a year to finish one roll as I'm being very precious about the process haha but I'd like to play with it more. I am really loving your channel keep it up!
This picture are on point.. such a great job..are you were relaying on the internal meter or you meter using an external meter? I have the same Minolta an even if I over exposed by one stop still a bit dark... thank for the video.
Hey, thanks so much! That's interesting that yours seem dark. I honestly don't use a meter 90% of the time haha I just trust my eye and hope that I get it close. Portra 400 seems to be a pretty versatile and forgiving film though so it's not too difficult.
@@warren.marshall thank you for your reply..i been watching most of your video i see your have a pretty good eye... great work..i enjoy watching and learning from your channel.. thank again .
Would you mind sharing your settings? Haven't found a video to help me out for this camera. I just bought this for a camping trip tomorrow. Already picked up some film, Fuji Film Superia 400, the only available one I could find immediately at 9:00pm from Walmart. Took 3 photos: Auto shutter, 5.0 stop aperture, 500ISO. Hoping to get some good open shots this weekend at the site.
That's awesome, I hope you enjoy it! I usually just eyeball a scene and judge the light as I choose my settings. You could try using a light meter though. I believe there's some free app ones that work pretty well.
i don't know what I'm doing lol. I try it out. Changed the shutter speed to 500 and aperture to 16f. Darker it got went to around 8 and lowest is 4. I'll see how it came out when I develop it. thanks bro
