I could never relate with most Karachiwood movies and lost interest in watching them. But when the Box Office numbers come out I used to feel left out for not having watched them. But now when genuine reviews are made I realise I am not wrong.

Same I am an 80's kid and I stopped watching bollywood movies after the age of 12 or so. Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and DDLJ convinced all bollywood producers and money investors that only love stories can make the big money and so there was a wave of love stories with cringe family portrayal trying to be like HAHK for years.
As I grew up more, I understood that only making love stories or inserting love stories in every movie is far from the only problem with bollywood. I have been watching English movies since then but to be honest the problem of being jabardasti ka woke is there as well but their movies are still much better.

In Hindu Dharma, self-less service is called 'seva' which is one of the duties of Dharma, but it is an outcome of "unattachment" concept which comes from Atma being unattached to the body (material); which is about self-realisation and then leads you to to do 'seva. On the other hand, "Selfless service" is a Christian concept. It comes from Jesus Christ' selfless act of punishment for sins of his followers. However, it does not exclude material attachment. Therefore, Christains are supposed to engage in self-less service to emulate Jesus. Therefore, the Christian concept is an order based on copying the messenger; whereas the Hindu Dharmic concept of self-less service is based on sound logic/reasoning. However, Bhagvad Gita does not talk about self-less service, it only talks about 'unattachment' The self-less service in Dharma icomes from smritis/sutras.

Well.... I don't think the'll be able to ruin Savarkar this way, because of two reasons-- 1. Mahesh Manjrekar is the producer and director. He belongs to Savarkar's home town and says to have worshiped him in family history. 2. Randeep Hooda as Savarkar is an underrated but wise matured actor. Hope he will take on his shoulders this movie very well. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Agree I have not seen the movie. Akshay’s picture as Prithviraj is nowhere near to Maharaja Prithviraj’s personality. When it was declared that he will be playing this role, my suggestion was to take a totally new face. I like Akshay and nothing against him. It was my gut feeling that this movie is not going to be what it should be. Definitely Akshay’s body language during interview suggests that he did not like something about the film .
Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi seems to be the only asset of the film and also our nation from the Hindi Film Industry 🙏🕉🛕🚩🏹 *The rest (actors - the cast) are basically self - preservation artists and "Private Citizens". In short it was a good earning for Canadian Kumar and Khangress Sood. Hope that sinks into every Bharatiya...... unfortunately whom have helped this film hit box office.*

Kutubudin capture patan capital of gujarat. Akshay Kumar should apologise for his role in Samrat Prithiviraj , second time he has insulted the character first in Kesari, secondly in this movie.He should think beyond money making.
Previously, the movie character Peshwa Bajrao got ruined and now the movie character of Samrat Prithviraj also got ruined. Main trouble is that this is done by Dr. Chandraprakash Dvivedi Ji.
Are there no producer/ director who can show the history correct, which will of course be based on facts and written documents. Prithivi Raj was actually a warrior and not a lover only as is shown in the film. He was famous for his bravery and wars.
I have seen the film. It might not be in the league of Chanakya but it is not bad. In fact the number of Hindu elements used in the film such as reference of "Om Namah Paravati Patiye Har Har Mahadev", Jay Bhavani, references of Arjun, Krishna, Sri Ram, Laxman, Bhishma, Rishi Dadhichi etc are more than we have seen in any film. So lets not demean it.
Bro in the movie bajirao mastani also there were hindu elements like har har mahadev jai bhavani Jai shivaji but you do know what it did to peshwa bajirao's image...he was shown as an unfaithful man though marrying many women was common back then n he married only for political reason yet we know how the movie impacted the image of the peshwa.....we shouldn't let these small things slide.....
