Carr went out sure, but GB played without their top WR, RB, Corner, not to mention Bahktiari, Jenkens as well as losing more players during the game. Love, a young QB was throwing to a bunch of rookie receivers who kept dropping the ball. Despite all this, GB pulled it off. So sure Carr got hurt late in the game, but they shoulda put it away by then. And GB was missing a ton of key pieces as well, it goes both ways.

Carr being hurt effects it obviously but that defense still had 18 pts dropped on them all in 1 quarter. The 4th quarter. Also the backup that came in has more reps in that system the carr does. Car has only been there for 3 games while Winston has been in Nola for 4 seasons now and has over 2k yards and over 10 tds in that stretch. And to top it off love had 2 pro bowl linemen out on his blindside at LT and LG, had a pro bowl level RB out in Jones, had a good talent in Watson out, had PRO bowler Jaire out at Corner, Gary on a pitch count, and Campbell got hurt and missed a big part of the game.

This is a QB who was coached by Luke Getsy for two seasons. The same QB coach who helped Aaron Rodgers become the fifth player in NFL history to win back-to-back MVPs. The same QB coach, now offensive coordinator, whose hands are tied by a QB who can't read defenses, scrambles into defenders, and doesn't audible out of a run play when the defense is stacking the box. One of these QBs is not like the others.

2:55 don't think it's a communication issue, think it's a personel/injury issue. Watson makes that catch, or at least is around the area. With him out, Musgrave was the only one who could stretch the defense and keep them honest w his size and speed. 7:30 is a good example of that as well, Watson DEFINITELY makes that catch, or at least is in position to knock the ball away from the defender. (Yes ik Musgrave is a TE not a WR, but that's not really how teams look at pass catchers anymore, not exclusively at least) great video tho, definitely gonna look out for more of your breakdowns 👌

great video, i only disagree with your take on the Jordan Love interception play. There's a LOT of contact from the DB (wich the Saints do play in and out btw) way after the 5 yard mark, and it slows down the Doubs route a lot, looks like he loses at least two steps. If he can get a free run after the 5 yards he's probably contesting the catch and that's not a pick, at maximum an incompletion. Also important to note the 3&14 situation, that's basically a 50 yard arm punt too

He’s more Favre than Rodgers. He is going to make a bunch of bad throws every game. Sometime it will cost them the game. The biggest takeaway that nobody is talking about is that he has a very short memory. When you can play from behind and get the points WHEN YOU NEED THEM against a good defense that knows you are throwing, you are ready to be a starter in the NFL. I also think we are seeing LaFleur come into his own as an offensive mind. They have been very effective with very below average backups playing key roles. I think if they can get healthy they are a playoff team.

I love rodgers but I have to admit I was way too favorable to him, seeing this team be a completely different team these 3 games tells me rodgers was alot more of an issue than I wanted to believe. This team plays hard for love, they rally around him, and they want to win for him. It was loves time and he showed he took advantage of all the time behind a legend like rodgers. This team has talent at key positions, they just need reps. 3 of his weapons are rookies in reed, wicks, and Musgrave. If watson can stay healthy they actually have a legit wr room.

Love didn't miss Musgrave. Musgrave should have continued in a straight line and not broke towards the hash. Rewatch where he is when Love starts to throw and what he does as the throw comes out of Love's hand. All 3 misses to Musgrave thus far have been on him for not finishing the route properly.

It wasn't Love it was the ineptness of the Saints both defense and offense. I turned the game off with about 6 minutes to go as I knew what the outcome would be. I have seen the Saints do this to themselves over and over. The Saints had virtually no pass rush the second half. The offense could not even get one field goal in the second half. This is the ineptness of the Saints not the Packers ability. I saw in the opening Saints drive the old up the middle play they almost always do on first play. I expected this loss. But more surprised when up 17-0 at the half. Carr insisting on holding the ball rather than get rid of it and not take the hits is why he got injured, of course that is because of the poor play of the offensive line which was almost the entire game. Jamais Winston showed he is not worth his salary after doing well when he first went to the Saints. The Saints will go nowhere this year once again because of their own ineptness.

Love’s accuracy is conflicting tbh because I’m not sure how much of it is a lack of chemistry or young WRs, Drops, or ball placement. Love did have some wiffs but I’m inclined to think the young core and drops are the primary reasons right now.
@StatsLie14
@StatsLie14 9 месяцев назад
A great example is the musgrave seam shot. Everyone keeps saying that love overthrew him but if you watch Musgraves route it is because he starts to bend the route towards the weekside safety. If musgrave continues up field, like he is supposed to against 2 high, it is a completion. Still probably a tiny bit high but a completely catchable ball
@TheLombardiLeap
@TheLombardiLeap 9 месяцев назад
@@StatsLie14 yeah i agree with that, it just seems like more often than not the “accuracy issues” are more related to someone not being where they are supposed to be or where the ball is expected to be; which I think is more attributable to 1st year players than glaring accuracy issues.
