that ratio was a nightmare NOT because of the dislikes but because 4 likes held 50% ratio against THOUSANDS of dislikes

The reason why the DCEU is failing is because WB/DC is trying to hard to push an extended universe to compete with Marvel. If they just slowed down and focused on better writing/stories (based of the comic books) and more character development, like give each character their own movie to introduce them to us instead of throwing them into beginning of the movie without any backstory, then maybe their world would be more enjoyable to watch. If they want a connected universe don't tell us that the movies are connected, imply that they are from hints and easter eggs, that way if one of the characters doesn't work out you can fix it in the next movie. Sure they may be competitors but WB/DC NEEEDS to take inspiration from marvel then maybe they'll have better movies. ~ A DC fan

I don't understand how people can dislike these videos. there is so much time and thought and effort that goes into these videos, if you don't like it just don't watch it! I feel Justice League came too soon in the series. It'd be like Marvel doing Avengers after introducing Iron Man, CA, and the Hulk, then introducing the rest of the avengers in the middle of the movie. Too much too soon.

This was a great video. Also a lot of advertisement companies for RU-vid do the exact same thing. They use bots to give views, which boosts posts, then RU-vid recommends the video. Also MatPat, don’t worry, %90 of your dislikes are just miss clicks lol

This episode honestly made me cry. I’ve been a huge fan of DC and Marvel ever since I was a 3 year old, and seeing both take a huge kick to the balls broke my heart. But the fact that with honest critique from fans, hard work from the cast and crew, and true grit from everyone, it makes me happy. Honesty, not robotics, is the best policy, and the ends truly justify the means. True fans don’t want to see it go down in flames, they want it to get better. Even if not everyone’s satisfied, it’s better than to lie or fake it just to be pleased later on, or to ignore the people who truly want it to succeed and then go down in flames. We all want it to get better. God, I’m honestly crying, this is the honest part about storytelling. No one wants it to fail, especially those who truly care about the story. And constructive criticism, will build it to its true greatness.

The biggest problem is. Marvel pays attention to fans and DC pays attention to rotten tomatoes and ticket sales more.. Hence why DC keeps falling short and even openly sort of bad mouth review scores.

I think the reason people don't like your theories is that a lot of time they don't get that those theories are just... theories it can be right or wrong which is what's cool about theories. Personally I just like watching your videos for the effort you put into them even if sometimes I sort of anticipate the method you're gonna use tp deduce something, it's still fun to watch the process (because you actually take time to make a lot of research so at least I can know a new thing or too, I am a curious about nerdy stuff so it's my jam) and sometimes your memes although terrible can crack me up at times. So yeah I thought I'd drop this one so you know that I like for theories not for their accuracy but for the research you put into it.

I apologize for this comment not being about this video, but I have a theory idea that I really want MatPat to see. In the anime "One Piece" there is a character named Franky who powers a battleship on cola. I would love to know how powerful this energy source would be. Both in terms of the anime where three barrels of cola can launch a ship through the air a distance of one kilometer... and in terms of real the world, how much energy one could get from cola between the pressure generated from the CO2 bubbles as well as the calories from the liquid itself. If nothing else, this would be a great video for your next Crunchyroll sponsored video.

Disclaimer:I love both Marvel and DC comics equally so don't go crying bias, so we cool? .That being said, I agree with many people that the Marvel movies have been better than the DC movies, although there have been some exceptions like Thor:The Dark World and the Dark Knight films.

76% on rotten is actually not that much, because it's not avarage score, but 76% of people thought it was an all right movie. After suicide squad and batman v superman it definitely didn't look that bad, so a lot of people were ok with it due to low expectations.

As an RS player (osrs) and playing it for years. They have bots that use AI to ok players. VERY WELL might I add. If you’ve tried to pk and more specifically hybrid fight. You’d know they’re advanced and if I recall OSRS pkin bots are top of the line bots right now

I thought you were about to talk about the robot army in justice league, but this is even better.

The main problem with the DCEU was that Warner Brothers won't stop interfering with Zack Snyder's works. From pieces of information gathered from Snyder via interviews and various social media posts we can put together a rather accurate timeline of what the DCEU was actually meant to be: 1. Man of Steel was released and Zack was already planning MoS 2. From leaked storyboard panels we know that Brainiac was the intend to be the main villain and Batman was intended to play a minor role in the movie (at least Bruce Wayne was meant to be in it, they might not have even made him dawn the cowl yet). WB wanted Batman to play a much more major role in the movie as to get more fans in and cash in on the character even more so they made Zack rewrite the script. 2. Instead of rewriting MoS 2 he came up with the script for Batman V Superman instead as he wanted to save Brainiac for a solo Superman film. From interviews we know that Zack had not only written the script for BvS but had also very much planned out what he wanted to do with Justice League. 3. Warner Brothers cut only about half of BvS for the theatrical release and completely shot themselves in the foot by doing so. Now, don't get me wrong here, the Extended Cut wasn't perfect but it did have a MUCH better flow and feel than what came out on cinemas, and would have been received a lot better. 4. WB freak out because BvS was poorly received and start interfering with Suicide Squad and try to interfere with Wonder Woman but Patty Jenkins said she'd walk if they tried changing things in ways she didn't like and they backed off. WB then proceed to hire Joss Whedon to work on Justice League before Zack even left. 5. Zack's daughter tragically committed suicide and he left the production of Justice League and Whedon fully took over. Whedon, claiming that Zack's final act was unfinished so he had to come up with an entirely new plot, starts filming a bunch of new scenes and injecting them throughout the entire movie. To make things worse, WB STILL decide they need to cut 50 minutes out of the film. We also know that Steppenwolf's character was greatly altered from what it was meant to be (compare Steppenwolf from BvS extended cut with Justice Leagues) Now here's where the real kicker is. Zack has been teasing for ages now (using Vero) that he did in fact finish filming all his scenes for Justice League through various cryptic picture posts. From what I can gather, all the scenes had been filmed for Zack's version but they don't have the CGI done. WB didn't have faith in Snyder's version of the film so they got Whedon to come along, cut a bunch of scenes out and the crudely stick in his own re-shoots.

The pacing in this episode was bad, MatPat & especially that other person could have been more developed, but it might make some theorist nerd happy. 5 stars

I honestly could not choose between Film and Game Theory if I could only watch one. It would be such a hard choice I can't live without each one.

If we're being honest, I'm a fan of good, thoughtful writing, and character development. Wonder Woman was the best DC film to date, and that's because the writers didn't put only two weeks of work in (looking at you, Sucide Squad). Sure, it still had it's problems, but it was a step in the right direction. I was hoping DC could sort of follow in those steps.
