Acctually the solid crystals mat was talking about are acctually used as a portal to another dimension thats definately magic my dude bit the rest makes sense
The Ancient One : We harness energy... drawn from other dimensions of the Multiverse... to cast spells... to conjure shields... and weapons... to make magic. The Ancient One: Through the mystic arts, we harness energy and shape reality.
It's probably because he describes things in an entertaining way for people to pay attention to the lectures. It also helps that he uses examples/references that are of interest to the listeners.
@@Vexarax who says debunking something and proving something isn't the same thing. You could make the same argument that a scientist debunked the theory and showed that souls really exists.
@@banana_deity9305 Its more that our understanding of what science even is, is incapable of explaining certain things. When we talk about or engage in science we have a very limited definition that requires things to be able to be observed and replicated. For that reason, things that we know are true, are not science. For example, your voice inside your head? I have that too, so does probably everybody. But it cant be observed, so even though it undoubtedly exists, it is not "proven".
@@theseusRJ7 honestly no, magic is drawing forces beyond the physical reality or plane. Science is just using the recourses provided by the physical reality to study it, invent stuff, etc. Magic may exploit the laws of physics, but it isn’t harnessing science, and most of the time it just defy the laws of physics or exploits them in ridiculous ways.
The fact that the theory holds up in my eyes is impressive. I also learned that light is a lot more dangerous than I thought...and I thought going places couldn't get worse!
Cesarin Pillin "just think, if you told the average person in the 11th century that just 1000 years from now, you could put a bunch of people in a giant metal bird and fly them around the earth, they'd be standing there thinking You mean across " ~Casually Explained
and any fictional technology that is given their own "made up" explanation, will be chewed up by everyone in the internet and saying how stupid it is and they didn't do enough research about it. even though its a fictional world and our logic probably doesn't apply to that world's logic.
@vishnu patil absolutely false. ENERGY cannot be created nor destroyed in an isolated system. It's called the Law of Conservation of Energy for a reason.

The logic of this video: "That wizard shooting lightning bolts from his fingertips isn't using magic, because lightning bolts are a thing that science recognizes to exist".
@@oreoex-rwbyhater599 well, if u take for example laws like conservation of energy then I dunno where all the light is coming from, or when he says strange moved just cause of photo-whatever effect heating half his face that means he is gonna melt waaay before he actually moves just to point out a few
Nite Lights I was just thinking about showing my physics teacher (his phone wallpaper is an avatar drawing and spent a whole class explaining how avatar is possible)
Stop lying u dumb bitch ur teacher won’t just stay after school for 2 hours to just watch a movie and why would he even watch a movie just because a dumb student told him to?
Lot's of teachers are like that. You don't have to be so mean just because your teacher isn't. Lot's of students end up smarter than the teachers, so don't go around calling students dumb either.
Tony Kruy what's even funnier is that tony probably did like 10 minutes if reading and was like "I know everything about quantum mechanics, where is my diploma? Oh right I have 20" and he'd be 100% correct.
10:5 My mind was thinking the mirror realm then I remember Peter using geometry to capture Strange in no way home so MatPat is right math beats magic. Mathic
Magic is just science we don't understand. Magic often has a vague definition, but science is defined by the scientific method, which can be applied to anything that has consistent rules, including most definitions of magic.
Marvel: I don't how to explain this, but this is science. MatPat: Magic is basically the Force of Photons. Marvel: *W R I T E T H A T D O W N ! ! !* MatPat: Cloaks don't exist!
THE INTERNET It's a fantastic place There are even websites set up to make sure the information on them is correct by matching itself against the rest of the internet Like this one: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Introduction_to_quantum_mechanics
Learn quantum physics if you are totally into concepts like multiverse, teleportation, and all that stuff. To begin with start watching youtube videos on quantum physics, they all are very interesting
*Me in Math Class* Professor - "You think you know how to solve for X? What if I told you, the formula you know, is one of many." *Professor begins to write a bunch of mumbo jumbo on the board* Me - "That doesn't make any sense" Professor - "Not everything does. Not everything has to" Professor - "Through Calculus, we harness trigonometric functions, and shape the answers. We solve complex equations, in an instant." Me - "How do I move point A from here to there" Professor - "How did you find X?" Me - "Algebra classes. Years of it." Principal - "There's a strength to him" TA - "But will he study?" TA - "Be careful which test you study for. Smarter men than you have failed." Drunk Friend - "I have Beer. And Drugs. You'll fail studying for that test." Me - "I can't study this." TA - "There is no other study sheet." *Test day comes* Professor - "I've spent so many years, peering through test scores. Looking, for you." *I try to epically finish my test before time runs out* *Cute girl hands me a paper* Me - "What's this? Another Formula?" Cute Girl - "...My phone number... I'm not a complete math nerd."
Not torture if you don't remember it. He would have only remembered winning the bargain. This is how he was in that sense able to trap dormamu for thousands of years. Dormamu is able to remember the reset because it wasn't used on him.
Nick Jenkins They mention the avengers in the movie. They say something like "The avengers protect our physical world, we protect (insert something about non-physical world, I don't remember the exact words)
@@pentagram3 unless you use light to move it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or who knows give marvel a break, they used science for basically everything Dr. Strange uses that is 'magic'
PikaFilmStudios Go see my previous posts. The property of the cloak manipulates probability to the point where it becomes very likely for the wearer to be able to levitate.
It will be pretty darn award winning if this guy's theory actually comes true in quantumania 5 years before actually even waching the 1st dr. Strange movie. Marvel should recruit him if it does.
Charlie Gordan That will be the day I weep for literature. I can't wait to hear how Hamlet was the real bad guy of his play, or how Heart of Darkness was actually about the dangers of unprotected sex.
Pretty great theory, but one more thing needs to be explained. Perfect transmutation circles spawning out of people's hands.....? That seems pretty magical.
Samuel Baugh why wouldn't they be perfect geometric shapes. Seems natural of nature to make a perfect circle. Or it could just be the people using infinite squares to make a circle
These people who say that Marvel is for kids are stupid crying dc fans(and marvel-haters) jealous because Marvel makes much better movies (and series).
Marvel WAS actually shit but became better and better through time. Haven't watchted many new Marvel movies but the ones i've watched were amazing (like Deadpool or Dr. Strange)!
Sand Shadow He don't work at a hospital he works in research. Did you miss that whole scene in the move where his girl is trying to convince him to go medical.
i also love the fact that even dr. strange himself would argue with this theory heavily lmao (quote from hulk: where the monsters dwell) strange: this is why i deploy working with scientists. everything requires an explanation... bruce banner: you're not gonna give me the old "magic is just science we don't understand yet," are you? strange, jokingly: has it ever occurred to you, dr. banner, that science is just magic we don't understand yet? and then right after that bruce just gives him a look of "r e a l l y"
Spoilers; What about his sentient floating cape? What about reversing time around you, while you are still moving forward in time? What about summoning a demon that exists outside of time into our reality? What about bringing time into a reality where time does not exist? What about the Mirror World, where everything that happens in it does not reflect in our reality? What about living for hundreds if not thousands of years? What about fighting and having a conversation outside of your own body with someone else who's also outside of their own body? Wait... you didn't see the movie? Oh, well as the movie said, forget everything you think you know.
I also appreciate a well written reply. I won't disappoint you next time, Echo. To further explain my belief behind the statement (Don't take me seriously, I'm at a bachelor level): If energy is conserved, light/photons will not be more energetic in a "solid" state unless you apply energy to "transform" the light. Applying energy means you're doing the opposite of harnessing energy, you're losing it. Then again, we're not able to harness 100% of light's energy when using methods like solar panels/solar sails, so maybe if we can use the entire light crystal as some sort of static electric field to fuel an electric current, there is potential. You know what, forget it, I don't know shit about this.
