The character was actually named Sarah Proctor. After a real life women accused of witchcraft in Massachusetts. It's like they KNEW you were going to try to draw this connection.

I didn't realize we didn't "know" Wanda Maximoff was Scarlet Witch until it was "revealed" in the show. I was confused when they said something about her not having an alias earlier in the show.

While Agatha and Wanda fighting each other. Dottie just appears between them and says to them: Oh, you didn't think you were the only magical girl in town.(and a she gets her own theme song too)

Ngl, it was pretty weird that they emphasized Dottie on E2, only for her to be a normal person (like how Fake Pietro was also just one of the townspeople, or at least for now).

He’s actually not that wrong. Even after the show ended. New Rockstars said the same thing. That her name suggest that she might have an ancestor that was a witch during Salem so Agatha might try to use her. Who knows.

I feel like everyone here is overlooking something. Despite episode 9, I still think that Dottie is still a witch. In the Spanish dub of the credits in episode 9, Dottie's real name is shown to be Sarah Proctor. Sarah Proctor was real woman who was accused of witchcraft during the Salem Witch Trials

I think that you might really be on to something. It's worth noting that in the final episode, Dottie's real name is revealed to be Sarah Proctor: The Proctor family (which includes their daughter Sarah, who may or may not be the same Sarah we have here) was accused of witchcraft during the Salem witch trials. It's definitely an interesting choice of name that seems far from a coincidence that I think deserves an explanation.

I think we just decided in our heads that someone was gonna take Wanda’s happiness and never considered she would surrender it herself when she realized her happiness was hurting other people
