I've been sat on 2 passion projects for a while now (got bogged down with client work) and I've been very scared that I'm in the "freelancer videographer" trap (not in "film" where I want to be) which is why I have committed to doing passion projects for exactly the reasons you describe in this video. Just about through the woods with workload now so will be looking to start them soon. Also yeah so true about collabing, my first passion project I tried to do all alone but for this one I've managed to find a handful of people who are willing to work with me for experience/favour-for-favour. All in all, nice to hear these viewpoints from someone like yourself who works on some dope personal/paid projects.
Bruh you did not just compare the videography world to dating. 😂 I literally made the exact same analogy in the vlog I just posted. Interesting we saw it in a similar light.
