great video as always! thank you for going through the process of showing us your work flow and these BTS shots. this will definitely help/inspire other filmmakers.
so inspirational! really really interesting. thank you really much :) I really enjoyed watching the behind the scenes process, especially the shots regarding framing and lighting. thanks for the opportunity ^^
@@elijahk2022 Yes, there are some videos he compared the leicas with other lenses. But I would like to see a detailed overview about his set. And of course most of us won’t ever have a full set, so it would be nice to hear which leicas he prefers and what are his recommendations. And when he uses each lens for specific scenes
Matteo i would love to see your creative process....how you attempt lighting as in the room(studio) ....how you making decisions ... I really like you work!
the only affordable cinema cameras blackmagic ever made were the first ones , the bmcc2.5k , pocket og and production 4k , it has the fairchild sensor ,it was real cinema image the new pocket cameras have a more digital-commercial look to them , no wonder netflix hasnt approved them (however i have seen some pretty terrible image on netflix original movies , its the stream -media look not the 'big screen' cinema look
It’s just politics and agreements with different camera manufacturers from Netflix. There is absolutely no logical sense in having a Panasonic mirrorless approved, but not a BMPCC6K that shoots 12bit RAW. With that said Netflix approved doesn’t mean Netflix won’t buy something shot on the Pocket. It only means that you won’t be able to use it for a multi million dollars netflix show and what are the chances that you’ll use a Pocket when you can get a 60 people crew and an Alexa? 😂
Always great images when you film. Very inspired by all of your work and and simplicity of every decisions you make. Whether gear choice and shot choice. Anyway, i noticed that you power your monitor with battery and not on the v-mount. Is that intentional? Have you heard about the loop issue of power supply when connecting the monitor to the same battery supply of the camera?
Amazing work dear Mentor. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 You inspire me always... How do I avoid noise on my footage. I shoot between 400 - 1000 and still have noise on my footages and 1250 /3200 is worse. Most times I have to denoiser. I also use a variable ND on my bmpcc 6k (Gen 5). 🙏🏽 🙏🏽 🙏🏽
Hi Matteo, i love your contribution here on youtube, learned already a lot from you and purchased your Buttery Luts for my 6k Pro. I still have a question - are you not nervous during the shoot that your SSD will die? I am asking since blackmagic 4/6/6k Pro have no possibility for dual recording or am i wrong? What is your backup plan during such shots with the 6k? Would be super cool if i get a feedback of the Master Matteo :) Regards from Switzerland, Raphael
Thanks man! Nothing really happened, ssd are pretty safe and even if something happens you can still retrieve the files without issues. I use cfast cards now tho
@@matteobertoli Thanks a lot Matteo! I film weddings and i am always scared a bit when recoring to my T5 from Samsung. Cheers to Portugal, Usa or Italy from Switzerland ;) Rapha
Love you're Videos and always using you're luts. Just one short question : Do you use the gen 5 lut to preview on you're monitor since the new update ? And Do you always use the basic one, or also sometimes the contrast +1/+2 ? Keep it up Love from Berlin
