Around Christmas I spent some time in Hong Kong, I especially wanted to get outside and see the amazing countryside there (there's a lot!). However, I got struck by THE VIRUS and was quarantined for most of the time.
The day after my Ma On Shan hike I met up with an old friend Daphne, who is a phenomenal wildlife photographer and set up a filmmaking career here in Hong Kong. First off we try to spot thrushes in Lion's Education Park, Sai Kung. After the crowds gathered, we headed off to Kowloon Peak in search of the Hong Kong newt. Although the chances of seeing them fizzled out, the lush forest was enough to feast our eyes on.
