That’s one of the million locations I need to see one day. Even the movie Dutch has two locations in California the dads house and the spot the working girls pick them up. At least we have the home alone house here.

Some information says it was filmed at the other high school. But I read in an interview with one of the camera men that this was the location. Because this field didn’t get demolished until after filming. It’s been awhile since I did my research so I’d have to look up my sources.
Its a shame we cant share images in the comments section. I found the exact location, i also used an app called "SetJetters" as they have a function called shot sync where it overlays the scene on your camera and you can adjust the transparency to sync the shot perfectly. That store is definitely gutted I think would be cool to get in there. I filmed the Nieman Marcus just for the hell of it. Because Lord and Taylor’s is closed, and they tore down the Sears Marshall fields section.

This has never been covered on any site or stream of 80s/John Hughes filming locations. It is the correct location for the 'I don't have a home' train station scene in Planes, Trains and Automobiles, one that has been misidentified by other bloggers as being elsewhere.
I don’t follow wrestling much so I had to google him. I remember hearing about that murder suicide. But I think that’s the first time I’ve heard that I look like him. I’ve heard wee man ,Chris Jericho so another wrestler sounds about right. I’ve also Been told I look like some MMA fighter.
If I was going to drive to Garys and Debs and Wyatts(rebuilt) Joels Risky Biz, Camerons house... are they all in same neighborhood? Also do you know the other Illinois house where Wyatts bedroom scenes were filmed? Thanks
@@janetweber6775 yeah it’s mostly north shore Illinois locations a majority is in highland park most of the wired science stuff at least is. I can give you the exact address if you have a specific location in mind.
