So you got the great spotted cuckoo at last. I was lucky enough to see them in Cyprus a few yeas ago. Great bird. Is there only one there? Would be nice if a breeding pair settled on the island. Thanks for the video.
No only one. A second calendar year bird so don't even know if they mate in the second year. This was my third after one in 2011 also in the Netherlands and 2018 in Spain (extremadura)
Nee, vogels merken je toch wel op aan je beweging. Alleen als je van plan bent om ergens uren stil te gaan liggen heeft zoiets zin. Maar ik ben meer een vogelaar dan een fotograaf. Maar wie weer ga ik het ooit nog eens proberen om te kijken wat het effect nu precies is. Hetzelfde als met een schuiltent.
