How gorgeous those yorkshire puds! I usually follow mrs beeton’s recipe of making the batter and baking in the juices with the roast. But it doesn’t come out nearly as fluffy as matt’s. Im going to try Matt’s way!
For your layover in Boston you could try buying into a nice airport lounge and spend that day there. Some have showers. Most have food or very relaxing sofas or chairs. You could bring your laptop and relax and watch movies or do some work. If you leave the airport you would have to recheck luggage, go through security etc.
That same thing happened to my husband and I! The connecting flight in Boston disappeared and we had to spend the night in Boston and take an early morning flight to get home. We looked and there were no other flights that same night so we had to take what they gave us. Just got back from a 12 day cruise in the Mediterranean. My husband’s first cruise. Took him kicking and screaming and now he’s a convert! Yay!
I would love to relocate to the UK-i feel an affinity there and need a change desperately. My father/grandfather are first generation Scots and i feel the calling. I want to be there.
There’s not much around the airport in Boston, depending on what time you get there you can grab an Uber and go to the city, there’s a beautiful park with lots of historical and touristic stuff, it’s like a 20 m ride from the airport to downtown- I love Boston 😘 just be back on time for your flight , plan accordingly

We are on fixed prices for power and find it very worthwhile. It may go up but it’s not the huge increases others have to deal with since it’s averaged. I’m in Dallas and we have wild weather fluctuations which makes it even more worthwhile. Love you both!❤️❤️
Matt is also add mustard or sometimes i use the mixing bowl that i used for the sage and onion box stuffing mix and mixed the bits in the bowl into the batter. Yum x
Second comment. But important. Flying into Logan Airport in Boston is not unlike flying into Heathrow. If you only have 6 hours before next flight you might want to stay in the airport. Getting a taxi to go into town is easy, but the traffic getting into Boston and back to the airport can be like traffic in London. I’ve been in both airports years ago, and know the traffic delays. Sitting in a taxi in gridlock traffic is not pleasant. If you have 9 hours you can do it, but be mindful of the time needed to make your flight. Copley square ,the old oyster house, Quincy market , are fun places to see if you have the time. Hope I’m not overstepping on comments. I care so much about you. Your videos are my happy place💖🌟 PS, ask a taxi driver if it’s possible to get there and back in time. They too have “the knowledge” or did when I was there.
At least there is a good public transportation to Boston Logan airport and you can jump on the subway (known as the T) and be in downtown in 10 minutes. The only issue I can foresee is that you may have your luggage with you with that long of a delay because you have to claim it to go through immigration and customs. Make sure that you take advantage of baggage recheck right before you exit customs if available. Because once you leave that area, you will have to go to the regular check in desk and they likely won’t accept luggage more than 3 hours in advance.

Beautiful scenery the scarecrows are hilarious. Congratulations again on your new venture. Our weather has been as crazy, we are also getting hit with hotter than usual temps right at the start of Sept, my body doesn't like it, I do hot easily, unlike the sun I am allergic to, but yoyo weather not so much. My autoimmune doesn't know what to think, and the shingles loves to rear its head. This time I didn't wait even a day with meds and tons of sleep so am getting a handle on things, cross fingers. Your vlog really cheered me up. Well aren't you in a quandary with your heating/utilities. Here in WI (USA) we do not have a choice, it is run by the county or city you live in.and it was the same in rural SD. I hope you figure out what is best for you.
In the same boat as you guys re octopus. I want to go onto their tracker tariff that you can only do with a smart meter. (We got ours fitted last week). We have to wait a couple of weeks and apply to join the tariff. It tracks the market daily.... unless everything goes pear shaped again it should be much cheaper. That's the plan anyway....!
I truly wish that we had the option of being able to choose our utility providers in the US. We do not. We are at the mercy of the companies. I have to pay for the honor of being their customer. Then I have to pay for the fuel service fee, etc. My house is all electric so I don’t have a natural gas option in my subdivision, otherwise I would have that charge also. We also have to pay for water, sewer & garbage disposal services SEPARATELY from our taxes, so that’s another company to deal with. Too many companies & fees for everything including fees for closed plants are passed on to the consumer.
