This is just GREAT. The only difference is on the original remote control the display is amber coloured. But the amount of work can never be appreciated enough.
Many Film Makers Contract out Set and Pro Designers but you might consider a Career approach similar to what George Lucas took. You have the Electronics Engineering Skills and a great interest in the actual film and editing as well therefore I recommend a Career approach along similar path as Lucas, Disney, Spielberg, Henson. You have a good start and the Right Stuff so Dream Bigger^!!^
Not sure if i am that good! 😁... but i can pretty much remote control anything. Remote controlling a car is no big deal anymore these days. But what differs me from others, is that i can hide all the controls in the car and still keep it manually controllable. I have a big rc project coming up in dubai!... so keep watching my channel for updates 😉
@@BjornHarmsRC , I have worked with some of the worlds best Engineers and I have built Cars so I think you do have the Right Stuff. The only think I would have done differently on the Delorean is I would have used True Line Lock. I looked back thru the Movie footage and I think that the Doc did use True Front Brake Solenoid Line Lock in the in the Einstein Burn Out Time Displacement Test. Man you do some of the Best Engineering Work that I have seen in years. I subed to your Channel so hopefully we can be friends. I am curious if you have seen Stanley Meyers Water Car? The instrument Cluster and many of his conversions to the internal combustion Engine remind Me of the Delorean Time Machine, I think it might interest you. Thanks Man, you made My day!!!
2 things: Try doing it on an asphalt parking lot somwhere, not on those bricks as the friction is kind of off and if you ever add a higher power engine for it to do peel outs when in reverse, do it. this was so awesome!
This is absolutely great, I'd want another one for myself. Also, how about building a RC Herbie next? Does sound nice as one of the stunt cars from the first film was a remote controlled car!
The sound is original from the movie you see in the upper corner. I just reenacted the same scene with my custom build remote controlled delorean. Because the movie was faked.... i wanted to come as close as possible with a real remote controlled delorean. Check out my channel for more of my rc projects
