@@boluadebayoable Tech n9ne (T9) was in another music clip from NF. it's this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oBPUfsozvoA.html&ab_channel=NFVEVO
Hopsin said in an interview that it was hard to write his part without profanity because he was so used to using it as filler, but he thought it made him better because he had to really think about what he was writing.
NF is so amazing. He co directs and co produces his videos with Patrick Tohill. NF has a ton of skills Nate loves christopher nolan. You can tell with his videos
Fun fact Hospins “fans” when on Twitter after this song, and completely wrecked him. They said he was a sellout for not swearing in this song. And had a lot to say of him even doing this Collab with NF. It was horrible to see people do that and say horrible things.
Funfact both have Christian backgrounds both have psychological diseases like nf with depression and adhd so both are underrated artist cause they can telling us the truth of our society
U were talking about how the balloons are his burdens and while u were saying that idk if u noticed but as nf was walking up the hill u can see he’s making his way towards more balloons on the hill.. and when he gets to them he finds hopsin and his first line “wow, these burdens are heavy, and I’m hopin it don’t burry me” that just shows that that’s exactly what the balloons mean
Something new is about to come out by NF. He tweeted he was shooting “H” it’s a movie. Someone reply, they all are. He replied it’s a movie, movie. He deleted it later because that’s what he does a lot. Supper excited 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm a music producer and I really love NF and Tommee's productions, but it's so cool to see this from a visual perspective. Incredible how these two worlds (audio and visual) can live together in such harmony if there are creative, passionate and competent people on both sides. I really look forward to more of your videos. It's so great to see this, because how I look at it from audio perspective, you do from visual and it's really enjoyable thing to watch! Thank you for making this and keep the videos coming!!
Please do Paid My Dues, Whin I Grow Up and The Search!!! Side note, just found your channel 10 minutes ago and am IN LOVE with these NF reactions from a filmmakers standpoint. Such a fresh change of perspective and incredibly interesting to watch from an outside yet comprehensive and entertaining point of view!! 🤘🤘🙏😄
I found your video on NF Clouds and it led me here, another quality video. I love hearing the expert-level breakdown of what makes these videos so absolutely amazing. I'm sure plenty of other people have told you about the balloons and such, but there is a reason why they aren't going away. Nate gives us the answers when he talks about how "you (God) gave me this place to go when I'm hurt. I thought it'd get better but it's getting worse." and "yelling with all of my fans to wake up, but feel like I haven't." in Intro 2. In Intro 3 he follows this up by burying his fear/issues. I think this can be interpreted in many ways and one way that I interpret it is literal, as in he's conquered fear but still feels the other damaging emotions and issues are necessary. Alternatively, my preferred interpretation is that he metaphorically buried his fear in a negative context. Like swallowing our feelings, we can often backslide while healing and sometimes it's difficult to overcome that negative slide. So we revert back to our old, buried habits that protected us and we didn't finish healing from. So the balloons are still there.
Wonderful reaction!! So glad I found your channel! High quality viewing with a genuine reaction from a guy who's done it! I wish your channel great success! (Excited to hear more video analysis!) Shout out to NF! No one does it better!
I love NF and he is the reason why I changed my mind originally on music videos as a career path outside of what I've been studying which is just film and tv shows. His videos were the catalyst but the MVs of BlackPink really added a new layer to my editing mindset and love for this craft.
Oh my gosh that last scene with all the balloons... SO POWERFUL! Give you chills and goosebumps. I love your videos Jonathan Mr. Hiller Sensei sir! I'm an indi-game dev and the concepts you're teaching me for cinematography apply 100% to making a scene epic in a game. DEF SUBSCRIBED
The story of NF is amazing! I didn’t now he existed until 2021. He is a Christian but doesn’t go by Christian rapper. As you said NF chooses not to cuss. NF did have cancer and made it out. Barely any people know this writer and it’s crazy! Story is totally amazing and you should do that next.
i think the ending has a significant meaning when tied to another song in the album "just like you", saying that hes not the only one, or theyre not the only ones that are lost. Millions of us are buried under our burdens and need help getting pulled out like nf to hopsin.
Man i love your reaction on his production process. I have you for this part and i have Shaq to break down the bars! NF is one of my favorites and now i have two great reactors breaking him down!
Algorithm showed me you out of the blue this morning… how damn dope are you!? Obviously a master of your craft to understand the idiosyncrasies from shot to shot, transition to transition. Plus pulling obscure film references out of the air like Step Brothers quotes. Two videos in and I’m here for whatever you post now. Thank you for the journey you take people like me on that know very little about the back stage. So damn sick stay at this.
Huge NF fan and a 60 year old aspiring Filmmaker and storyteller. I am working my Master in Design and I wanted to see if you had any suggestions on other coursework I should take? I am a UX Design Major and planning on getting my Masters. I would love to make films, but I am trying to be practical by getting a technical degree to pay back my school loans. My assumption is that a Masters in Design would be wiser than a Master in Film Production but if I were to be real, I want to tell stories.
the way i did it was learning by doing. trial and error. there are so many amazing film courses and available resources online / youtube. i would just start with the camera at your disposal and create!
Yay so glad he is getting acknowledged for his many talents!! And loved to see an professional take on it. Hope you can pause next time, your take on the video is why we watch it. 🥰
Cool perspective on this video. It was like watching a new video with all the info you provided. NF does make some great videos so was interesting to see your perspective. Thx
Left a comment on your ”Clouds” reaction. That’s how I found you. Can’t wait to see more. AMAZING reactions. Very refreshing to see this type of reactios since I mostly watch people break down the music in itself and almost nothing else.😁💯🔥
Honestly, I prefer clean rap just because I feel like the bars themselves come through more powerfully because they're not clouded. Not that its bad when there is cursing but it just feels more real and personal when its not using commonly used curse words every other word.
I’m not sure if this was intentional but I love the metaphor where he says “I hope it don’t bury me.” Even though he’s already buried. To me it’s a good metaphor to show how some people don’t want to have these issues and burdens yet they already have them and they just don’t realize it.
I love your reactions because it’s not just talking about the lyrics or bars, but the total composition of the video! I would LOVE to see a reaction to Tom Macdonald videos - he’s totally independent and his girlfriend shoots, directs, and edits all his own videos. New subscriber based on the videos (Dax “Dear God”, and a couple of the NF videos). I’m a photographer and it’s great seeing reactions to the visually artistic aspects of the music videos! Fantastic reaction video!!!
I genuinely love your small insights and general reaction! I'll see you growing in no time and teaching us a lot! Btw, I bet you will fall in love with NF - Story. A Masterpiece of a Music Video in my eyes. And if you are interested in talking about animated FiIm, I recommend watching Arcane and reacting to that!
Great breakdown of the video. Loving the filmmaker view on it. 🙌 However there was one thing that made me go 'wait what?' You said that it was easy to tell apart shots from a heli and a drone. Well, with the normal drones like dji, etc. I totally agree. But you do know they make big drones too, right? Like crazy big things, that has no problems carrying a full camera setup. 🙂
It’s interesting the use of a Mountain when climbing the mountain is often used in mental health to explain recovery. That you climb and may fall down to the bottom but that on the climb you’ll need tools and skills and people to help you manage things until you’re in a more comfortable place. When you’re content with where you are you can then help lift others up. Peer support.
NF's videos are nearly as artful as his music and lyrics. I've seen plenty of reaction videos, but super stoked to hear a take from the film side of things. I'm subscribed! Please take a look at "The Search" in a future video. Actually, just please do them all! :)
You should do someone Falling in Reverse’s videos of the last couple years. They’re basically movies. Do I’m not a Vampire Revamped, Popular Monster, The Drug in Me is Reimagined, Zombified, or Voices In My Head
I’ve watched a billion NF reactor videos. And this is such a unique perspective of NFs videos. If you’re going on this journey, I’m definitely a sub! This is so cool.
New subscriber here and a filmmaker myself (definitely not at your caliber) I am loving your views on these videos and learning as you’re speaking so I appreciate this. I’m curious to see your view on the song Story by NF I hope you are able to do that one! Thank you for your content!
