One of the best collaborations, sic soundtrack as well, one of the best, to my estimation and one of the first coolest things I held in my hands - a cassette with this soundtrack. )
This song randomly popped into my head today when I was making pancakes for my kids this morning. First heard it back in the 90s in high school lol. It has aged well, unlike me.
I play this for my infant like wever ure thinking, u better stop it. **I didn't actually know all the lyrics. But I still like the song. For it's energy. I'm a female. That moaning ish does nada for me
You may take back your condolences, thanks to 2 older brothers who were into metal and many famous musics at the 90s, I enjoyed 90s music so thank you.
from an old dead head- this song fuckin rocks. One of those in your face masterpieces that transcends where you came here from... still get goose bumps!
I found the Spawn soundtrack at a local second hand store. I was super happy because I wanted to hear other songs from this awesome movie from the 90s. The movie I can still watch...I'm happy I got this song again but I'm re-donating the cd...
I had a sound system in a Daihatsu Charade in the 90s, TOP quality everything. I mean The Best. Cost me many thousands. Top quality sound quality and kidney shattering bass. This song on that was my fav.... My GF would say she could hear me coming from one kilometre away. It has about 600 GENUINE RMS watts in it. Two HUGE vintage Alpine amps, Image Dynamic boxed 10" subs, Focal front end, blah blah. This song would almost make your eyes bleed and turn your kidneys to jelly when the drums and guitar REALLY kick in. I'm 56. I loved it more than the GF..😂
@@coma718ny I would have been happy listening to the donk. 350? Camaros and Corvettes are pretty rare in Australia. Suffice to say they get noticed by "those who know". They're probably as common as house flies in USA
*sigh* just because someone is of a certain age, that doesn't preclude them from anything. Further, just because someone wasn't around for it initially, that doesn't mean they can't discover and appreciate it now.
I've got the acumen of a seasoned pro, I've got the legacy of a billion souls. I've got the world down my back but I dont seem to care, I've got the comprehension of a world unaware....
Fair enough, but just because he was too young to appreciate it then doesn't mean it doesn't hold some significance now. I was born in '93 and lately I've been looking up stuff like this to try and help me figure out those early years. For instance, I remember now that this was a common fixture on our stereo back then. Besides, and this may be the nostalgia talking, but I think a lot of culture was better back then, in particular the music I've listened to.
For some reason, I think this song (especially the beginning of it) would go along really well with a movie scene or a video game cutscene depicting some sort of tactical counter-terrorist assault team (such as a GSG9 assault team) making a stealth entry to the building in which it's going to conducting its mission.
btw you dont know how many shootings i watched next to me in the late 80's and the early 90's. i shroomed watching spawn at the theaters. when i was 13.
I pretty much just clearly... Heard 3 lines. And of course the chorus. Ok scratch the other 2, I got the majority of it. But it's still a butchered version. Basically, whenever & however I picked this up, I mainly just made up my own lyrics. The only line I really could think of from the top of my head is ,"I got the world on my back & I don't seem to care..." Good sh for my apparent 16 yr old self tho., I guess. Also, no I never watched spawn. & I def wasn't taking drugs at 16 either. I don't need to drugs to feel high on life. Maybe moderately it's fun. And when younger. But if I had to, I'd rather be the person to use drugs to block ppl & thoughts out. Like I'm naturally paranoid & an over active thinker. I'm js. Also, hallucinagens is not my thing at all! .... ironically, this is most likely unbelievable but shrooms just don't do sh for me. At all. So no, I can't really trip like you do 🤗. Stills good song tho
