I am a mechanical engineer, but placements for mechanical engineers in my college is worthless. Marketing, salesman, bank employee (not exactly but somewhat related) etc ke jobs aa rhe hai. And, my college is tier 1 college. So, ab dekhlo conditions mechanical engineers ke. Core ke naam pe chutoya bana dete hai college wale.

Everything is interconnected and if we want modern society to function properly you need every field and every person in their field to work. Although scientists and science has a big part, every other field also had their role in building our world as it is today.
