I remember when I was giving my 10th boards, after my math exam I came out of my hall running towards my mum screaming that no more math and science for me, one aunty gave me judgemental look and asked my mum, "aapki beti science ya commerce nai legi?" And my mum replied, " nai, issko science and math nai pasand and she can study whatever she likes." I used to struggle to even pass in those subjects, now I'm on top of the class, because I took arts, the subjects I'm good at, so in your face!✌🏼

This is so relatable So I meet an aunty in a function....she asked me which stream I had taken When I said commerce..she gave me a Judgemental look and said my daughter has taken science she got high percent 92% in 10th I smiled and said oh okay nice I got 97% And then I walked away huh Seriously people just unnecessarily compare and judge arts and commerce with science

I don't understand why people think that those who have not taken science as a stream are average or very bad at studies Art students are also talented like the students of other stream .

Be it profession, subject or stream, everything deserves respect. Today, in our society, professions like acting, photography etc are not respected. Once my English literature teacher told me that if you don't respect a shoe maker, one day you have to walk barefooted. If you don't respect actors, you will have no entertainment. Therefore everything deserves respect. ♥️ I wish I grew up in a open minded society. 😭😣

When I went to college for admission, I said I wanted to take arts and a lady at the admission desk asked me how much I had gotten in 10th. I told her I got a 90%. And she said "then why are you taking arts, take science no, 90% is a good result. Are your parents forcing you?". I said "no, ma'am. I'm interested in Arts". She looked at her neighbour and they both shared a weird smile or a laugh, I don't know what it was. I didn't get the information I was looking for so I had to ask around 5 more people🤦

I'm also a Humanities students. I got 96 percentage in class X but it was my passion to be an educator of socials and hence I took arts. All streams have equal intensity and there is no need of scope if you have clear career clarity about what you want to be. Thanks filter copy for such a video. I am a Science student but in my opinion all the streams are equal and it just depends on u that which stream u like the most.and sometimes Arts students are much more successful in there life then science students because success does not depend upon the stream u have taken it depends upon ur hardwork. The only problem with arts is, it is not given enough career prospects and opportunities. If given, arts might become on par with Science and Commerce. And as it is our P.M. is breaking these rigid stream systems through NEP so people can study whichever subject they want.

I can relate to each and every word here!! At first I thought that it won't happen to me but then, just bcoz I scored 88% in sslc, all the relatives advices me to take Science!! Even my teachers scolded me bcoz I said her that I'll take arts! I mean, why don't people understand that arts is also a field? This is the reason India can't succeed. For the development of a country, all the three streams of the country's education system must develop at the same rate. But here, in India, Not a single stream is developing; Indians aren't doing nothing except over rating one stream and undermining the other. Science ain't really developing in India. If it was developing, there would have been hundreds of Nobel laureates in India. Also, the Mangalyaan mission would have been successful. Science students acting like Marcus Aurelius and undermining Arts students, and society laughing, parents forcing students to take Science. We complain about not having proper political ministers. But to know proper politics, students need to study Politics, which is in Arts! Students with 85+% must study science, because, according to some primitives, Only intelligent people take science. Weak students must take Arts. Even in top educational apps, only Science and commerce is given importance. I know you'll argue with me, filling my reply section with logic of your own, but deep inside, you know I spoke the truth. No need to write hate Replies My Brother and Sister are Arts students. They work very hard, and are now inches away from becoming university professors in their respective subjects. In two years I need to choose my stream. Science - very hard for me Commerce - my grandma is a commerce teacher so that may be a choice Arts - That is good ! Like if I get a degree in :- History : I can be an historian Psychologist : I can be a psychologist Legal Studies : Lawyer Sociology : I can be a sociologist So with this I would like to conclude. Arts have a LOT MORE scope than the other Fields. Also as the other two fields have so much competition what is the chance that you will get into the streams you want. Nothing is more than the other. To be frank, I feel that arts is way much harder for me than commerce. I always have struggled with history and politics in my lower classes. I just wish that this notion that science is the epitome of all subjects will change...at least in this century. To the people who think the society need only science to survive...do science students know how to manage a business and its accounts, what about analyzing the poverty rates or literacy rates, or even finding out about our ancestors. I have always felt that commerce and arts is way more practical and more connected with people. I am not saying commerce and arts is better than science. I just wanted to make my point that every subject has its own importance and none of them can be a substitute to other. Also, not all are choosing commerce or arts due to low marks...its because we truly love it and found it way more interesting that science. And don't ever think commerce and arts is easy...some of the concepts are way harder than science.

I have chosen arts it was totally my choice even my family didn't force me to chose science or commerce they used to say that do what ever you want to do afterall it's your life. But I still remember one day my school teacher, he was passing by school's corridor and saw some arts students were talking with science students....and he told those science students why are you talking to them they are arts students 🙂 honestly I felt so bad ....

I myself took commerce and accountancy in 11th and 12 th std but I switched to Arts stream in college and now I am pursuing B.A English Literature. Actually now I am happy that I took B.A english literature. And I am very happy about that. Now I realized that taking whatever stream doesn't matter but what matters is how you make yourself successful out of that stream and utilize with it . Talented people can be from any stream, the main fact is that how you utilize your talent and be successful in that stream.
