I am so happy when I saw Russ did not force to score when he was being guarded by Gobert, instead, he passed to Lebron leading him to assist a 3 pointer for Reaves. I think he is starting to understand what they needed from him. I hope he keep this one up.

I never thought I'd be thinking "What the hell would we do without Russ?" This guy has been playing so efficiently and contributory. I said before the game that we were about to get "2016 Finals Cavs vs. Warriors" LeBron, and he definitely went vintage on us. A couple of takeaways from this game: I believe Russ plays much better without AD clogging the paint. Whenever it's just Russ & LeBron, I see a connection that makes Russ feel comfortable & in control, which is interesting. I feel that he makes things much easier for Bron. But, I think LeBron benefits a lot as well when AD isn't on the floor. Another thing I learned: I understand now why LeBron works so hard on his three-point shot in practice & pre-games: you never know when it can shift the results into the team's favor. His percentage has gone up 4% since his rookie year; only 2% less than Steph Curry this season. Overall, I still have faith in this team. I think LeBron realizes and has embraced that he has to go as hard as his early Cavs days. If they can beat a 4th seed team without their big-man, I can see a bright future for my Lakers.

If they decide to send help to Russ then Russ passes to the wide open shooter by his side.
