After closing the game on a 13-0 run, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Denver Nuggets, 113-102. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 34 PTS (24 in the 2nd half), and 9 REB, while Klay Thompson added 18 PTS in the victory. Nikola Jokic tallied 23 PTS, 12 REB and 9 AST for the Nuggets in the losing effort. The Warriors improve to 45-22 on the season, while the Nuggets fall to 40-27.

It's because of that little props that made Steph having 0 FMVPs. Remember when people gave too much credit to Iggy when "clamping" Lebron (Eventhough Lebron still dropping 30+ in his head)? He got the FMVP and it was mindboggling how people ignored Steph's leadership because of someone playing better than expected 💀

Steph Curry is the master at drawing the defense away from an open shooter based on how the defense is set to one side of the court. Steph knows 2 players will follow him, which cripples any defensive set once you flanc out a whole side.

Hartenstein blocked Poole in the 3rd on a layup. Poole slid to the floor and Hartenstein stood over him yelling and posturing. Then Poole and Curry took over and torched them with 3s

Great Warriors defense-- look at those active hands getting deflections. Warriors rebounding by committee; outrebounded handily for the game, but everyone worked hard for the boards in the last 3 minutes. Great decisions by Curry. Poole with the confidence and concentration to hit 2 big 3s. His form looked perfect on both of them.

The Nuggets playing their 4th game in 5 days finally caught up to them at the end of the game. Not to take any credit away from Golden State because they still had to had to hustle and make their shots. And this was their 4th game in 6 days, but it wasn't a back to back plus they rested starters on Monday, a decision that seems to have paid off today.

Looney ain't the one that can give you big numbers on scoring and reb, every night. But he is one of the most reliable centers out there when it comes to pressure. He did not lock down jokic but the pressure he did to make jokic struggle is amazing. Plus he can guard or stay with guards during def switches

It seems the basketball gods give them so much. Then always take it away for a season or two, and that setback always sets them up better for future. When have you seen a team with such a perfect blend of youth experience stars role players future stars. If Steph Klay don't go down, at times they did they could never have kept this team.
