The final 23 laps of the ARCA Midwest Tour's Joe Shear Classic at Madison International Speedway on May 6, 2018. Bubba Pollard was leading when Jonathan Eilen & Johnny Sauter tangle battling for 2nd place. Before the race could go back to green, Pollard suffers mechanical failure & has to duck into the pits. Casey Johnson inherits the lead and seems well on his way, until another caution between Steve Apel & Rich Bickle. Johnson runs out of fuel under caution and is relegated to the pits, turning the lead over to Austin Nason, who ultimately wins the event. Dan Fredrickson & Nick Murgic round out the top three.
