@@Hfidon what does that mean? How tf are y’all trynna take kds talent away Bc he played on the warriors it literally dosent mean shi he still is one of the best players in the nba 💀
KD is a straight SAVAGE from his decision to leave Russ to his two Finals against Lebron. man the BOy is something Special cant wait to see him destroy Lebron in the West finals
I just love how silent the crowd is the whole time, even when it is a 1 point game. I think in 2017 Cavs fans really thought they would win the championship, but in 2018 they pretty much knew they had no chance.
It’s kinda insane looking back at this finals ... first how lopsided the star power is but secondly the cavs really had a chance to be up 2-1 .. they should’ve won game 1 no doubt and then this game it’s a 1 point game and right there for the taking with less then 5 minutes left
If cavs won game 1 is see the series going 6 or 7. They would most likely still lose but the momentum would have been insane and the pressure would mount on the Warriors given the circumstances.
@@buzzerbeater9660 yea I think it would’ve been tough for them to win regardless but being up 2-1 still would’ve been huge. Never know at that point with Lebron
You're right. It was weird because there were some holes in this Warriors team throughout the season. I never thought the Cavs would win the series, but the opportunities to make it a competitive series were there in games 1 and 3 if they close.
So basically Lebron failed to close out games. Reminds me kinda of Wilt and Russell times, yes they were a better team but all those finals Wilt had vs Bill were always close and similarly he failed to close out just like James. I know they can't win this series but going out sad like this is inexcusable. Looking back to the 2018 Finals the way people really talk about these games should make it seem like they always win games by 20-30 points lol.
The mistake that teams make is to think that Steph is the weakest defensive link of the warriors... Steph is an elite point guard defender... In this series, he defended Lebron so well that he made it difficult for Lebron to take advantage of him or hit his shot on him... Lebron only made 30% shots having Steph defend him or when he switches on him... Same thing happened in the Rocket series. Rocket felt they could attack him or switch and force him to defend but each time he is placed on such position on defence, Steph has done so well... Steph defence is totally underrated.... Steph defends so well... Though we dont expect steph to be a rim protector or defend bigs just like Draymond or Kd but giving his built, Curry is an elite defender!!!!
Andre Randall funny enough, I dont engage into throwing tantrums at someone let alone a person I hardly know... You have just shown your level of understanding is shallow.
@@ZeusWayy everyone should remember...he is the finals mvp on this group's first championship against cavs before losing that 3-1 lead the following year. then....KD came and they win 2 more
NOBODY...and I mean NOBODY can explain with LOGIC....why Lebron switched off of guarding KD. Not even the sports talk shows wanna handle that subject. They KNOW he JACKED THE GAME OFF. Nikka ain't no damn "king".
Lebron didn't want any smoke from KD. Hell, when KD becomes almost automatic like that, I don't even think a Dennis Rodman in his prime would want smoke from him either.
look what happened when they rejected the switch at 4:24 or 6:46. You can't guard the warriors with conventional coverage you have to switch and hope your weakest defender is good enough.
Zachariah-Bin Yisrayl his pussy ass switched off because he didn't wanna be on another KD poster, simple. He saw that look in KD's eye and wanted no parts of him.
He switched off because his ass didn’t want to be a victim again of last year. Lebron is no fool. He knows all his media flunkies will give him a pass for not holding KD
I've grew up in Boston watching the NBA and went to a game in GS and CLE, IMO This Warrior team is the greatest ever! Sweeping LeBron's Cavs and the offensive efficiency was absolutely insane!
Yes KD hit the shot, but man Curry was clutch. Hit the lay up, which should’ve been and 1, then hits the big 3 next play, plays great defense for 5 straight possessions, swallowed up the defensive and made a great pass to Draymond for the dunk. Dude just makes plays. But the Lebron apologists love to only big up KD because it’s a softer blow to his legacy, cause KD is a 7ft unicorn, the marquee matchup bs to justify, but before KD got there, all I heard was how Lebron owned him crap. God forbid Lebron gets out played by lil ol Steph. And it’s a shame, because it’s not about either of them, it’s about the team. But the disrespect on Curry is unforgivable, which will only make him better.
Kd knows how important this game was...and his teammates are off...as soon as he notice that...he steps up...and asking for the ball as soon as they got posession...and starts to direct traffic...cavs notice that too...but cant shut kd down...dubs got their money worth acquiring kd...
@@alexjimenez997also shows how’s he hasn’t won a ring since. Kd really only needed to show up every other game. He had 3 hall of famers, the second greatest shooter ever, and the greatest shooter ever and a top 10 player of all time. Kd has done nothing since this game. Don’t give be “well he would have won in 21 if it wasn’t for injuries”. Injuries are apart of the game. Rockets would have won in 2018 if Chris Paul doesn’t get injured in game 5.
exactly bro and u can say those 2 games they lost cause of him game 1 before overtime he was emotional and this game he didnt have to switch off durant haha
What does it mean that Lebron has no help? Is he the only player fielded by cavs playing against the warriors? Ofcourse he played with a complete team. Which other help does he need? He had Love, Smith and Kyle... These are all-star players... Which other help is he asking for? Was it not because of him the initial team from the begining of the season was disbanded for this team? Smh... Sports analyst and fans always look for excuse to exonerate Lebron!!!
What hurts me is after he got swept he came out with a cast on his hand and talking about he was injured like wtf take your L like a man and stop making excuses. Plus kd is a monster Lebron may have the stats but Kevin has the scoring👌💥💵
Only thing that bothers me is that LeBron didn't accept the challenge of stopping KD one on one. If he scores, fine. But to just pass it off to Love, I don't like that. Now as a Lakers fan, I realize we're going to end up putting Ingram on KD because of their similar length...but in this situation, when it's there to be won, you gotta have your best player take that challenge. You can't tell me Love is a better perimeter defender than LeBron.
Manu Ginobilis Bald Spot The REALITY has already been exposed : LEBRON IS A TERRIBLE DEFENDER...period. He's not even the best player. He's been OUTPLAYED individually by KD 2 years straight. The guy RAN FROM HIS RESPONSIBILITIES...like a fkkn dead beat dad. LOL
Manu Ginobilis Bald Spot The comical part about your comment is that u think Lebron plays defense...and he DOESN'T.. The Cavs have the 2nd WORST defense in the NBA. Lebron is the primary reason for that because he's a TERRIBLE defensive player. This was OBVIOUS for the past 2 years. Stop DECEIVING yourself about the Queen...ok ? LOL
Benji Muller How do u find a way to brag on a guy who QUIT in the finals ?? How do u find excuses for a guy who got his ass DESTROYED by the same man...in the same place ?? U are DEFINITELY a BRONSEXUAL. 51 points but couldn't win the game...not even in overtime ??? GTFOH.
LOL I get it Jew boy, you don't like him. But why did you come back a week later to post AGAIN? Do you think I'm a Palestinian and needed to be post bombed again?
wrong. Curry is still better. Real Warriors fans know why. Btw, Curry outplayed KD in 7 out of the last 9 playoff games. (Game 7 against Houston was a tie, and Game 3 CLE, KD outplayed Curry clearly)
Looking back at this, crazy to think that how close this team was to 3 peating. They would’ve swept the Raptors without question. Hell if they would’ve stayed together, golden state might have another ring on top of the one they got this year
Are you kidding me? Lebron can’t even make a layup over curry at 3:55 left! Then he keeps voluntarily switching on all these weak screens. Man he has all the gifts and talents to pass Michael but just doesn’t have guts in closing seconds smh.
Rosary25 Rose25 Nah stfu you know how many times LeBron passed the ball off on iso moments against Curry, it was all over espn and bleacher report, it was everywhere, he plays so passive aggressive now
Why don't you try being 33, going to 8 straight finals, going against the best team ever assembled in the nba, playing 47 mins against a team that get to rest his stars. You twist your ankle but still have to stay in the game to make plays, rebound, and score. GTHOH You are forced to be smart about who and when to attack and guard people. Cleveland lost this game because they clearly lost focus on defense in the final mins and GSW made them pay. Plain and simple.
I like how Lebron is 1 on 1 against Curry, a guy who is about half a foot shorter and about 80 pounds lighter, takes him down to the post and passes it. Perhaps if he had any inside game other than driving he would have scored.
I got one question and alot of LeBron fans might say I'm hating, but why does he keep switching on every screen like he's afraid of him. KD was on fire this game , so I'm just wondering if you call yourself the best player in the world you have to step up and guard the best player on the opposing team. One last thing, I remember in past series when LeBron had to defend D Rose or Parker he would never switch on phantom screens or weak screens
I don't get Lebron. You got the elbow post on Curry nearly every time down. Just shoot a jumper over him like you did against Toronto. What happened to LeFadaway "you're too small" to guard me James? It's like when he plays against the Warriors his confidence goes way down or something. Same thing in game 3 of last year's Finals too. Always pulling some choking shit when you're team needs you most.
He's the GOAT of being a physical specimen that can do all things. However, there are only real GOATS like MJ or Kobe for a reason. Lebron has the literal body to be the one true real GOAT. Bigger, stronger, faster than MJ and Kobe. But he lacks the mentality. The killer instinct. The heart. He loves all the praise and the glory. But doesnt really wanna do the hard work for it when its needed the most. Sure he'll play all 82, workout endlessly and do all that. But when it comes to times like this. Game 3 on your home court to truly shift the series of your legacy, you shrink and dont bother to even try. Hes got the body of a GOAT, but the heart and mentality of a sheep.
@Blue Skeptic yall expect him to beat them and spew bull shit like jordan beat the boston Celtics, bad boy pistons, or even magics Lakers in his prime 😂😂😂😂 basketball is a team sport. So yeah jordan or kobe ain't the GOAT cause neither one of them has the most pts, mvps, finals apprences, or anything in nba history 😂😂😂😂
@@TaeRokk11B you dont get what everyone is saying. Lebron was getting checked by a way smaller player one on one and refused to shoot the ball. Do you think any other superstar would have passed the ball in that situation? Like in the 2016-17 finals. In game three they needed a basket to possibly win the game. Lebron had Draymond defending him one on one with five fouls and he chose to pass the ball
@@l9ikjam I agree. Could you imagine Curry guarding Kobe like that in the high post? Kobe would be looking to score not deferring to Ariza or Fisher on the wings
@@Ben2bwild exactly! These lebron fans are in denial. They go crazy when he hits a game but then says making the pass was the right play. He put force Tristan to take the harder shot
Let me ask all these Bronsexuals along with the people that know basketball, when did MJ shy away from defending the best player on the other team, specially in a situation like this? Never!! James is soft.
@@whereisthelambsauce7753 when you're facing the best player on the other side and you're both playing at the same position, you stay on him you don't switch to guard Steph Curry. That's all i'm saying. I didn't say he didn't do everything possible. Nobody could beat that team.
I'm sorry but I think especially after the interview with ESPN that LeBron was done. I don't think he cared about winning... he just wanted to at least keep the games close.I think he truly felt his team wouldn't show up for him after that.
If kd can just find someone like curry.. kyrie was good but the guy cares more about his image than winning a chip. Gsw maximized durants scoring potential.. if he isnt tired or is hounded by defenders, he can consistently score until the end
Lebron "Guard My Man" James. Damn....this dude wanted *NO PART* of Kevin Durant in the final minutes. Help me KLove! Help me Tristan! Help me Rodney Hood! Goodness. And you have the audacity to call yourself the best, when you wont even step to the challenge of the person whos also racing for that title. I didnt notice it when watching it live, but seeing this back, I cant believe how many times Lebron got switched off KD without even trying to fight over a screen. Pathetic.
@@RichHoopsNba ik that Hill missed the free throw; nobody talks about the missed free throw. But he could've easily passed it off to Bron or he could've not brought the ball out
I like Lebron but he showed no competitiveness by allowing the Warriors to switch him off KD so easily. Fight through the screen and force KD to score on you. That’s what a champion does.
People love to say KD joined a 73-9 team, but every season lebron has made the finals he has the better team. Lebron has played with a lot of all stars I mean a whole lot.
All i saw was how lebrick was bricking all hes shots, passing the ball to much. Not playing defense, kobe or mj would of demanded the ball to their hands and a guarantee they would not had pass the ball because they are the goats they always took the game in to their hands.
Hello Lebron fans in all seriousness, trolling aside. at 5:22 what do you think was Lebron thinking in the situation? Why does he just refuse to guard KD? Does he not want to win. Isnt he supposed to the greatest?
