Because it's impossible for a timekeeper to have the reaction time exactly perfect to press the button the exact right time he touches the ball. Refs made the right call
I saw Sosa celebrating and I was stunned then I saw gliddon celebrate and I was going crazy. I was going for cairns even though they are not my team the reason I was going for them is because cairns are from queensland
All I notice is the horrible camera work. First they cut to the crowd after a missed free throw, then the full court shot isn't shown. And this stuff is still happening! I watch a game last week and they decide to show a slow mo replay while the quarter ends and a long 3 go's down. A similar thing happens with game winning shots and close finishes... instead of showing the team celebrate they decide to cut to the crowd as soon as the buzzer sounds, so you miss the best part. Why haven't they fixed this??
Wow, that's unfortunate for Cairns. Ball goes in at 0.3 (the legal time for a jumpshot), timekeeper stops it at 0.1, inbound shot goes up before timekeeper restarts 0.1 expires as the ball in flight. Insane.
It's impossible for a player to catch a ball, and muster up enough power to throw a full court shot in the space of 0.1 seconds. Obviously the timekeeper pressed the button late. after all, it's near impossible for them to get the timing exactly right of when the ball touches his fingertips.
