I love everyone’s reactions to Gyutaro breaking Tanjiro’s fingers. They were all shocked and angry, especially that one guy saying he’s never been more angry in his anime journey. Even before that, when Gyutaro was just patting his head, the one girl told him to not touch Tanjiro. They’re scared, angry, and revolted, which is why Gyutaro is perfect as the final villain. He captures what it means to be a demon: ruthless and disgusting, and to be feared and damned by others. It’s the reason why he’s one of Muzan’s favorites.

Man,Tengen is such a beast!! His determination & spirit to get the win is insane! Its not a matter of "If", Its like he said "we're going for the Win" & he's going all in to make that sht come true. I mean even after losing his hand, about to die from poison, he loses a weapon, gets stabbed & his eye gets sliced & he still has to be the one to yell at tanjiro to not stop and keep going. Im still disappointed he lost his hand, cause i would have loved to see him in the last battle arc, but then again. He had just unlocked his musical score technique, & theres a chance he couldve unlocked his mark along the way, he definitely had potential to be OP for sure. Dude is already the fastest hashira & the 2nd physically strongest one. Its actually ridiculous people call him the weakest hashira just cause he fought the lowest upper moon. If he was in that last arc, he wouldve for sure banged out as well.

Nah Fr I think in the manga tokito mentions him in the final arc about him not being like Uzui or sumthing, but Uzui is strong. Bro is fast asf and mind u he did this with ONE HAND, POISONED, and HIS EYE WAS SLASHED. People always say he’s the weakest but they don’t see the fact this dude suffered injuries that could’ve killed all the other hashira and he was holding up his own by himself against an upper rank, no mark and just pure strength. Bros so strong he was destroying land and buildings with nothing but his swords. His determination and durability is really the reason tanjiro and the others were able to win this fight . I wish we could’ve seen more of him and I’m pretty sure like u said he would’ve definitely awakened his mark and been a huge help during the final arc. Bro is him. They had to nerf him cause I’m pretty sure he would’ve stole the show.

I would like to point out that the climax of this fight, in the manga, was SEVEN. FRAMES. They animated over a minute of straight adrenaline-pumping action off of SEVEN. FUCKING. FRAMES. Bro idk how you can see something so peak and say "demon slayer is overrated" its a short and succinct story that all ties together perfectly and it touches on some very deep subject matter along the way, without delving so deep as to be obnoxious or preachy. It is, in my opinion, the perfect example of what a Single story anime/manga should be.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS Uzui is a victim of powercreep. He's the only Hashira we see in the entire story fight on par with an Upper Moon without a mark, AND he was missing an arm and poisoned on top of that. Plus Gyuutaro's arguably stronger than UM5 and (possibly) UM4, but his poison doesn't work against other demons (for blood battles) and he doesn't even care about his rank in the first place. At this point in the story, Uzui is top 3 hashira easily. But by the end, when everyone gets marked and he's missing an arm/eye, he's definitely one of the weakest, as you said. The only reason Uzui didn't get his mark is because Tanjiro hadn't awakened his yet, but if he was marked and didn't lose an arm, he would easily have been top 3, competing for the number 2 spot with Sanemi.

Something really stupid that the anime doesn't explain, is that Uzui needs fights (for stronger opponents) to last a bit because his overall ability is to literally "hear" their attacks and movements over the course of a battle and familiarize himself with those sounds so that he essentially becomes invincible to them as he can hear all of their movements/attacks before they're made by turning them into "scores" that he can translate through sound.

I was so fucking pumped watching this scene, akaza and rengoku's scene was epic and for a second i thought that the stakes couldn't get any higher than this until this season came around and its final episode, i was out of my seat yelling at my TV the entire time "lets fucking gooooo Tanjiro!!!" ... only to end up feeling so damn sad for the brother and sister demons to the point where i was sheding tears, what beautiful ride season two was ... the whole show is just a masterpiece, its been a long time that a show has captivated my attention at this level just an amazing ride through and through.

Just a perspective: An experienced Hashira like Tengen needed help from Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu and collaborate very efficiently as a team to go against Gyutaro and Daki, the weakest of the upper moons and shed blood sweat and tears to get the job done. On the other hand, Kyujiro went 1 on 1 solo against the upper 3 Akaza, and stalled him enough to give him a scare until sunlight, although being no match for him in any way. Just shows the resilience and nerves of Renguko in his final battle.

Tengen is the weakest Hashira actually, so that makes a ton of sense. If you think this is impressive, then I can't wait till you see Gyomei fight :3

Lol. You don't think that Akaza had a serious fight with Rengoku?)) If he wanted to, he would have killed them all at the beginning of the battle. Akaza did not want to destroy the potential of Rengoku until the last.

Dude I can guarantee you Rengoku wouldnt have lasted any longer than Uzui if he fought Gyutaro Uzui didnt know about the poison or else we all saw what 1 arm Uzui did to Gyutaro.
